Like so many, I grew up in Fords & there was always at least one Falcon among them (dad always had four or five cars at any time in the 60s & 70s) Losing the Falcon nameplate forever is another severed connection from my dad. I actually get pretty bloody emotional about it.. there's a BF MK2 Boss in my garage for sunny weekends + holidays.. but one day I'd love to park an FPV alongside it. The old man would've loved it.

Hi guys, can't be many reasons for this, but no one seems to be able to get to the bottom of it, my 2009 fg gtp changes into performance mode with less than 1/4 engine load, the car has only done 66,000 km and I'm told this should not be happening unless this stick is pushed over to contact with the hall effect sensors,

Owned plenty of cars, incl Fairmont coupes & Falcons over the years, and best car by far is my daily driver BA MK2 GT-P, 17yo now and still looks and performs way better than most of the boring bland identical shitboxes that are on the road, and usually in my way . This Velocity GT-P with the white stripes & BOSS 290 on the bonnet is a keeper forever, such a great car to drive.. 205000km, & still kills it with looks & performance. Thank you FPV.

This not a gt falcon its a glorified ea falcon with a xd taxi steering wheel with a superchrged v8 that has way more then 335kw according to the dynos and slow for the huge hp it produces.The ford engineers that made the real gt,s well done and the dropkicks that made these cars should be put in jail

I bought a bf gt 6 speed zf auto in rare neo blue with low klms it's 67,000 klms on it bought 2 years ago I love it pieces I'm never selling her absolutely beautiful machine she got 3 xforce system cat back she sounds awesome when you put the foot down love it ❤️

Watched this beautiful video a number of times . I can only ever dream of owning one of these but it's a lovely dream . Wouldn't say no to a GT-P or even a GS either one day .. Don't laugh but I get a similar feeling from owning my April 2008 build so literally one of the very first FG XR6's to roll off the line . She isn't the Turbo , she's not got the premium pack , she's got no factory options except the beaut ZF 6 speed auto but she is a sweet , sweet car and literally drives like new even today.. Also got an AU Series 2 Futura ..Equally great to have...Love them both ..

FPV/Ford should have made an GT-6T coupe and sold it worldwide. Wouldn't have been able to keep up with orders.

Love my Holy Grail XR8 which let's face it is the same car. The only criticism of these cars is that the brakes are totally RUBBISH!!! (Yes even the Brembo 6/4) They DO NOT work at anything over 140kmhr

tom thinks these FPV motors are American crate motors, that weren't built from the ground up, in Australia & weren't fully developed by Aussie engineers.... Wikipedia lef him astray. Its a nice car but its a waste of money. what can it do? Well not much. you're not going to want to stick your caravan on the back of it you probably won't let your kids sit in it I wouldn't even park it in the local shopping centre. So it looks good and all that but thats it I would rather go buy it a Ford Ranger
