A Tower of Terror miniworld could be a fun one off thing; but bring in new characters and have it be a short one off thing in between worlds or as a part of a bigger world (think Merlin's house in KH1) Country Bears could be a fun world for their game allotted musical world. If they do a Tomorrowland, don't base it off the movie. Base it off the land or off Meet the Robinsons. If they do a Haunted Mansion, base it solely on the ride. The movies were mid. For Marvel and Star Wars, they should do a cluster of worlds. For Marvel, you should join the Avengers during a fight (honorary member) and go on a mission from New York (your base) to various MCU worlds (think how Pirates did island hopping). This would be a generic Marvel Universe not following the storyline of the movies but featuring various marvel heroes. For Star Wars, I would be fine if they either followed A New Hope or have Sora randomly join the rebels and infiltrate the Death Star leading to him fighting Vader. I could also easily see a generic Star Wars adventure where Sora goes from world to world (same way as Pirates). I'd love to see them start with the Prequels and have it take place in Episode 3 and in future games have him continue that storyline with the Empire and eventually First Order.

For people that hate Cars as a property in KH lemme just remind you that in California we have Cars Land at DisneyLand and you know what? It is hands down the most immersive land in DCA (the second park in Anaheim). It pulls you in heavily. I think if they do a cars world they should do a thing where you briefly play through the story and like the video says, do races to compete in the Piston Cup as minigames. Have players compete in races for money and have it be a way to improve upon your cash in a way that it'd be an improvement to your game if you played these games but not be a requirement. One issue with KH3 and KH1 in comparison to KH2 is that KH2 has the players go back and play a second round in each world. You're forced to go back and do certain tasks and continue the storyline. KH4 should do that too and Cars World would be a decent way of doing a second go around without it feeling too necessary or tedious.

As much as I appreciate the idea of Sora not being special and anyone with a strong heart can wield the keyblade, the games themselves directly contradict this multiple times. Firstly, Kairi's ability to wield a keyblade in KH2 is only because Aqua accidentally passed the gift to her in BBS. THEY LITERALLY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO INCLUDE THIS. If anybody can use a keyblade, this was completely unneccessary. Secondly, have you ever noticed what happens when someone other than Sora picks up the keyblade? If that person is not already a wielder, the blade vanishes after a few seconds and re-appears in Sora's hand. You cannot tell me Leon was so unworthy that the blade immediately rejected him for Sora. So yes, the games have gone out of their way to show that only people who are specifically chosen by another wielder can use a keyblade. We know Sora didn't get it from Terra (he chose Riku instead) or Aqua (she decided one keyblade was enough for any friendship) so Ven is just the most likely candidate. I guess Riku or Kairi could have done it by accident at some point, but if so it happened before the attack on the island because Riku didn't get a chance to touch him, and he didn't meet Kairi until after getting the Keyblade. I'm not blaming you, this is on Nomura (and the writers). I guess I shouldn't be surprised they can't keep their story straight, considering what they did to KH3.

All of the Riku fights are my favorite... I actually feel like they're the best designed to test your abilities to weave, dodge, and attack with a sensible rhythm. Only Sephiroth gives the same feel later.

Been on a quest to get every achievement in every KH game, now that they are on Steam. So I just finished KH1 and KH2 over the course of about 100 hours. Then loaded up RE:CoM. I never played it on the GBA, and I keep having to remind myself that it was originally for that platform. It’s simplicity likely works better as a handheld, because as an 3d action RPG, it kinda falls flat. It’s not bad, but it’s certainly not great. Clunky, unintuitive, and a big lack of progression and meaningful exploration doesn’t help.

KH2 has the best movement in the series but the worst world design. KH1 controls like shit but has good world design. KH2 also had damaging movement. Final Form has jump damage and glide damage but that's only inherent to the form and not the kit added to base Sora. I think 0.2 has a good movement too, but that's so short it's hard to talk about.

Glad someone else appreciates the humour of days - a lot of it feels more just like that feeling of friends bantering which feels more realistic and natural to me then the more kinda 'punchline' humor. Plus personally I'm a big fan of the more deadpan blunt humor, which given everyone in this game is literally emotionless makes it funny - the idea of just bluntly stating 'that's a stick' or 'well, that's not very nice' just sends me for it's bluntness and sincerity. I think the humor also stops the game from being a wristcutting enducingly heartbreak of a game, it seriously needs some levity - but at the same time like you say the sad humor does kinda emphasise the tragedy of it all. Even if it's not the 'funniest' I do thnk the humor in Days is the smartest. EDIT: Also in my opinion the funniest part of BBS is when Aqua is trying to stall for time in Cinderllla's world and asks to try on the glass slipper despite being a kingdom hearts character and you can tell just by looking she might at best fit one toe in (unless she just wears massive shoes and everyone in this series is walking around in clown shoes).

As a person who loves the original Cars movie, I really hope it DOESN’T become a world because Car Sora sounds fucking horrifying and I don’t think I’m ready to see that. Although if the racing is anywhere near as good as the Chocobo racing mini game from FF7 Rebirth I may be able to put up with it.

Honestly I think 3 would be leagues better if they just have Sora a more tangible reason to go across the worlds (maybe he is looking for Roxas and make that build up more), and then have a middle act of any kind. Those changes I think would have made far less people complain. Honestly the only thing that through me off is just that it felt strange that there wasn’t an obvious reason why we were in each world when I could see several ways it could have had a reason. I love the combat and gameplay though so I still enjoy the game

A theory I have for Sora turning into anti form is due to Vantias being in Ven's heart and occasionally pushing through, the only explanation we get for it is the darkness that is in Sora's heart and though all hearts have darkness Sora's would seem to come from an outside source. No facts for this at all but i found it to be an interesting explanation considering Ven/Roxas is the reason for Sora's dual weilding.

I really think kairi deserves her own game right now. She deserves better than she got, and if they play into her strengths and not the helpless damsel crap she could be just as strongly defined a character as sora or riku.

One of the most hilarious, yet impactful, points against Kingdom Hearts 2 is that it is entirely possible to beat the entire game without jumping a single time.

I like the idea of having a mix of both prequel and OT trilogies. It's heavily reliant on the fact of "world returning" making a return though if not just spreading the story out to three games. Basically the first visit would be episode 3. I want it to start on episode 3 is because I love the idea of Sora making a friend who falls to darkness/the dark side, and actually stays there. I really can't think of an issue where he has dealt with a friend/ally and they turned evil and stayed evil so I think that could be something interesting for him to deal with. Anakin's downfall could obviously be a parallel to Riku and what he could've been if he embraced and went full darkness. I kinda have a general outline of how the events of episode 3 would go but I'm mainly going by themes here. Anyway, episode 3 would play out, you end with Sora distraught at the fact that one of his friends/allies fell to darkness and he couldn't save him. Debating on whether i want Sora to know Anakin goes by Darth Vader. I think there's both positives and negatives for both sides. Next time we come back, it would be episode 5. I really don't think there's much in episode 4 to be had and just starting the OT here would be better. The only real thing would be meeting with Obi Wan again but he appears as a force ghost so there's really no point in my opinion. Here is where the debate of Sora having the knowledge of Anakin being Vader creeps in. On one hand, sora knowing kinda brings a conflict where he might think it's better to tell Luke but Obi Wan and maybe even Yoda are like "nah", so they're telling him to lie to Luke. I don't think Sora has ever lied to his friends before so it could be interesting. But on the other hand, Sora not knowing Anakin is Vader could be interesting to see him reminisce about Anakin, much like Obi Wan did, only to have the harsh reality be is that Anakin survived and is now Vader. And he has to come to terms with the fact that not only did he presume Anakin dead (although they won't say the word), he has been around for this long and actively partook in the many atrocities he committed. At the end of episode 3, sora could've still had a bit of hope that Anakin could still come back, much like Padme. This revelation however, could flip his perspective and have him think "there's no hope for him. He's actually gone" This would impact his view going into episode 6. If he knows Anakin was Vader the whole time, it would mainly be a sorrowful fight for Sora. A fight between a father, a son, and a friend. But if he didn't know, he could be more bitter. Resentment for having once called Anakin a friend when Anakin has lived the past 30 years as the right hand man to a dictator. It's only when he sees Vader throw Palpatine down the shaft and saving him and Luke from death by electrocution that he sees the Anakin he once knew again, although a tiny speck of it. While I know this exact rough outline is probably not gonna happen, it's one of the few conceptual worlds I'd love to see purely for thematic purposes. Yes it'd be cool to have a 2v1 with Vader on cloud city or death star 2. Or even the duel on Mustafar, but I want to see Sora come to terms with the fact that someone he called an ally/friend is now someone he has to call an enemy and there's no bringing them back to the light. At least not for a long while but that's way after the fact Vader has committed many atrocities in the name of the Empire But that's just my ideal take on incorporating star wars into Kingdom Hearts
