Man, that's so awesome to have a perfect tune out of the box. I hope to experience that on day. lol. I will say though, my Alpha X 33 only needed a slight adjustment on the rest to shoot bullet holes and my cams were synced out of the box. If you get a chance to pick up at least 1 light panel, that'll do wonders for your picture quality. Your main camera is a little grainy due to the lighting but your overhead did better in the same conditions. Were you filming with your phone for the main and GoPro for the overhead? I noticed that when I film with my iPhone on the wide angle, it's' noticeably grainy if I don't have really good lighting. I'm slowly picking up more filming equipment to improve my overall quality so if you need any suggestions, let me know brother! Otherwise, I liked the video! Its cool seeing everyone else's builds.
@averysoutdooradventuresllc5 күн бұрын
@@MasterofNone365 funny you should say that! I have been looking into the “graininess” myself like two days ago. At first I thought it was just the upload quality, but I think you’re right about the light. Hopefully soon there’s gonna be a few changes around here… Appreciate you man!
@MasterofNone3654 күн бұрын
@@averysoutdooradventuresllc yeah 1080p with good lighting will still look good. If there's already a lot of grain, it only gets worse when you crop in. I'm beginning to film everything in 4k with my new cameras to help with that.

Thank you all for the feedback on my draw, I’ll come out with a video soon to reference on WHY I draw the way I do, but do want to acknowledge that I know it is not proper form and that I do not recommend anyone draws the way I do. Short story is, my back/shoulders are misaligned due to childhood injury, and I have taken lessons to fix the draw. Both times resulted in injury and physical therapy. So far, the way I draw now, has kept me pain free AND increasing my draw weight for about a year. We shall see if that lasts and adjust as needed. Again, I sincerely appreciate the concern! What a nice course to shoot. Sadly I don’t have something like this close to me. Long range shots are a lot more interesting than just pounding arrows on 20 yards. Quick tip for the bino harness: The range finder pouch is supposed to be mounted on that little loop between the harness and buckle on the side. It’s a lot more sturdy that way and not flopping so much inwards. Also you might consider pulling the straps a lot tighter, so the harness stays in place when drawing the bow or moving.

I haven’t tried those 60lb limbs on the Ventum 30 (black riser). I could get both limbs (#50lb and #60) to tune on my VTM (green riser). I should try tuning the Ventum with the 60lb limbs tho! That would be a good way to tell if it really is riser - good idea! I also thought about using a laser to shoot the limb pockets, but couldn’t figure out how to do so precisely.

No offense or anything, but if you have to draw your Bow back like that, you need to drop the poundage down 5 or 10lbs. You should be able to draw back right into your shot position position or very close to.. you are drawing back across your chest.. that means it's to much weight for you to draw.. hero draws will just rip apart your shoulders and when you reach pops age, you will be shooting a crossbow...
@averysoutdooradventuresllc6 ай бұрын
No offense taken! I’ve taken a few classes in the last 2/3 years trying to work on having proper form, and both times I ended up in physical therapy and couldn’t shoot for several months. Unfortunately, I have back and shoulder issues from childhood that have been causing issues for years. I worked with Archery Strong and I highly recommend! He’s helped me work on warming up, and strengthening my shot to get the longest “shoulder life” possible.
