Winters was a comedic genius. Extremely talented. He influenced a whole generation of comedians like Robin Williams of course & others.

The intro alone gets a thumbs up. Winters is an underappreciated treasure to current generations. Robin Williams appreciated him in such an honorable way.

RIP BOB, This performance is still funny to this day! Jokes about the airlines will never let up because, lets face it, it usually ain't fun to fly in an airliner!

Not all this material was exactly boffo. But Woody's frenetic style of delivery was brilliantly funny. Jack Paar, as always, was embarrassing.

I guess you can't blame him, but Woody is a hate filled little man, and Allen Funt, a sicko' with no humor at all. The IDF are real. Good work.

When I was 12 I had a cassette recorder that I loved. There was a comedy sketch I captured from the radio that was one of the funniest pieces I'd ever heard... well, I finally found it just now on the interwebs, 50 yrs later, here it is!

In a lot of ways I think Albert Brooks paved the way for Andy Kaufman and other similar comics that followed.

It's a great satire on the film Brief Encounter, including the Rachmaninoff music! That's a great British film, but they do sort of talk this way 😆
