Thank you for watching 😊. This is small closed form. So it is not as easy as other closed form. But so fun to make. I’m sure you will love this.

I am trying the closed form and I had to watch your video again to understand exactly when to do some of the steps. As I am throwing I can recall what you said at each step. Thank you for these invaluable teaching tools! 😊

@AlchemyCeramic
@AlchemyCeramic 14 сағат бұрын
Thank you for watching. Some glazes are my recipes and some aren’t. I will post with recipe when I use only my glaze next time. My firing schedule is nothing special. I have L&L kiln. Most of the time I use slow glaze cone 6 and 60 minutes holding time at the top temperature. In this way even cone. setting the atmospheric temperature in the kiln becomes higher. It reaches cone 7 to 8 easily . I have slow cooling schedule but I only use specific glaze.

Are you the potter or just narrator?
@AlchemyCeramic
@AlchemyCeramic Күн бұрын
Very interesting question. I wonder why do you think it could be two different person. I’m making this video only by myself. I’m the potter and also the narrator and the editor. If I’m going to hire the narrator I will choose much better English speaker🤣.

@@AlchemyCeramic hi thanks, I did look at the restaurant but a) didn’t see these and b) they didn’t have much listed. I also looked on their instagram where I saw more of your wonderful work. Unless you mean a different address? I rarely go into London I have to say - I may need to take a trip!

Hi😊 The restaurant website doesn’t have much pictures because pots sell very quickly and I can’t catch up the speed to upload new photos 😅. Instagram is bit better, but again I’m too slow to upload new works. I spend time to make KZfaq videos. Zen Mondo is the name of the restaurant, 326 Upper street N1 2XQ. It has full of my works, this non-dripping sauce pots are only 2 left at the moment. The restaurant open Tuesday to Friday From 5pm to 10pm. Saturday 11am to 10pm, Sunday 11am to 4pm. I hope we can meet sometime in near future 🥰

Thank you 😊. Same system Glass sauce Pot is quite common in Japan. I wasn’t sure if it works with stoneware clay as the tightness is less than glass pot. It works very well. Now this is going to be my usual line up.

Thank you for this wonderful video!! Just curious to ask why you don’t use pins on wheel head to easily place bats with holes to fit?
@AlchemyCeramic
@AlchemyCeramic 2 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment 😊. I have two pins on the wheel and these are for full size batt which I use for bigger pots and plats. These take space for drying process. If I use small batt I can make 20 instead of 10. So only matter of space.

When you are comfortable with those two this project is fun. I found small ONE PIECE is actually difficult to throw. Maybe you can increase the size.

I always love your videos so informative and enjoyable to watch. Question. Did you fire the lid in the pot with the glaze firing? 😊
@AlchemyCeramic
@AlchemyCeramic 9 күн бұрын
Thank you for watching 😊. Yes I fired the lid on. In this way I can expect perfect fit. If you worried not glazing the liquid contact parts, you can glaze joints parts and fire separately. But you need to consider the glaze thickness. You can glaze and wipe the glaze lightly then fire separately, is another way you can choose. I always like to fire lid and the pot together so I choose non-glazing joint part.
