I’m still working on a ‘98 Cannondale CAD3 in a deep blue color with yellow logos. Found it abandoned by a college student and put out with the trash on the curb. Original 8 speed 105 and brakes, Modolo Flash bars and stem and a Shimano WH-R560 wheel set. This video helped spur me on and to keep at it. Thank you.

Doesn't the length of the back brake hose (which is way less longer than if it was routed externally) limit the angle the steerer can rotate? Isn't the same true with the hole which the hose exits the steerer through to the frame?

Amazing work!!! I would want to do something similar on my next steel frame build with the cabling, what expander is that? Any chance you have another one of those anti compression plugs to sell ? Would be happy to pay and support such a nerdy cause 😅

Beautiful frame, elegant build. Yet, when you attach a saddle one can hardly sit on (pun intended), at least adjust it level, not with the nose down.

Great build, I subscribed because I saw the Aethos build. Is there a cheaper alternative for the deda fork that you used for the aethos? I’m not too confident modifying the oe crux fork and the deda is pricey. Is there an integrated fork out there that would have the clearance and not break the bank? Thanks.

I've been thinking about this build and was wondering if you would ever do a full aluminum rear wheel (something with aluminum spokes or maybe a vintage aluminum disk?) and a full carbon front wheel like a syncros one piece
