Yeah. If I’m getting on a plane I needs to have Rolls Royce on the engines.

Boeing is sad. They have infected air and space travel. They were infected a buy out. You cannot sell a defective product period.

I miss flying in the American Eagle turboprops out of Rockford IL. I also reminisce about the days I spent flying the Britt Airways turboprops out of Danville IL into O'Hare

I think that Lelystad should be opened to commercial air traffic, but obviously that is only my own opinion and is a matter for the Dutch government to decide on. I know that Amsterdam Schiphol airport has 6 useable runways - more than any other airport in Europe. One of those runways is out on a limb, a good 10-15 minutes taxi time away from the main terminal building. Amsterdam Schiphol airport itself is very user-friendly to navigate around and the Dutch are incredibly warm and friendly. Customer service is usually superb both inside Schiphol and on board most KLM flights.

Don't expect many people to willingly fly on them if Boeing's hiring standards are like that of the U.S. Secret Service.

I’m an airline pilot in US. Use to fly the EMB-120. I think a lot of the issue is that the turboprops just weren’t as comfortable as the regional jets and nor were they enough more efficient to make up for the customer dislike of the slower speeds, vibration, noise and belief that Turbo props were less safe. Continental express operated a lot of beautiful ATR’s and still, passengers just didn’t care for them. Today the pilot shortage is driving ever larger airframes. What turboprops we do end up seeing in the future will most likely be 70 seat or larger. I don’t believe we’ll see a lot on the 30 seat configuration of the past.

I have flown many Turboprops, Dash 8, Twin Otter, ATR 42, Beechcraft 1900, Embraer and never gave one thought to the fact it was a turboprop. I just wanted to get where I was going.

The weaknesses of the 321XLR include its ill-suited small four-wheel main landing gear, high wing-load factor, and lack of fuel jettison capability. These factors may render it inadequate for operations from hot-and-high airports (e.g., Madrid-Barajas in the summer season), as well as short or contaminated runways. Ideally, it should have been equipped with the eight-wheel MLG used on the 320s by Indian Airlines, but the center fuel tank made this impossible. The risk associated with the integral rear center tank (RCT) in scenarios such as a return to the departure airport with blown tires on one side, at or above the certified maximum landing weight, should not be underestimated. Consequently, the 321XLR may not be suitable for many routes currently operated by the 757, which went out of production twenty years ago.

It’s just bad eggs with that dangerous company Boeing. They need to concentrate on building safe planes instead off death traps.

It's really very simple. The only criterion that matters to most US travelers is how big a bag they can fit in the overhead locker.

You forgot Atlas Air. Most of their 747s are cargo, both 400 and the new 8’s. But they operate a few 747-400s that are chartered for passengers and carry US military overseas.

Way to go for not filming the engines' start-up process. Because that's what true aviation enthusiasts do. Skip filming the engine start-up process. I was looking for a video I could use to represent the Boeing 737 MAX 9 that included the engine start-up process, full takeoff uncut until full slat and flap retraction, full landing uncut until slat and flap retraction, and lastly, the full engine shut-down process. Your video does not qualify, and you are not a true aviation enthusiast.

Rode a bunch of regional prop planes in New Zealand. Don't remember noise or turbulence so I guess they were modern. I was more worried that some of the pilots looked like they just turned 18 :).

I've been a total avgeek before I started to fly for a career. I still am and always will be. What shocked me more, is I'm originally from about 15 miles from where this is situated and never knew a thing about it!! Now I live in Spain, so maybe next time I visit, I should see it for myself
