Only time I got sick from rice was when it was left in the fridge for a few weeks for some reason and I didn’t know it wasn’t the rice from the night before. Other than that never got sick from leftover rice.

I’m late but if you dine the cucumbers, it always for more bite and easier dressing coverage. I actually eat something similar every week. Cup of cubed cucumber Ed, minced spinach or kale with dice onion and garlic in a lemon garlic yogurt sauce or tzatziki. For vegetarian option, I used chickpeas for protein or firm tofu but I usually use chicken shawarma.

All is ok but I can't accept that restaurants operate on a fine margin. I don't know, maybe in your part of the world. But definitely not in my part of the world. At least 50% on food and 70% on drinks.

Right... If you don't refrigerate food and just leave it out at room temperature, it's going to grow bacteria like every other cooked food and make you sick. Common sense applies here. I have no idea who started this ridiculous nonsense that eating leftover rice is dangerous. As if it's somehow especially deadly. There are tons of traditional recipes that were created for using leftover rice. Fried rice, chicken and rice soup, stuffed peppers or cabbage rolls, and rice pudding come to mind. Any time I cook rice, I make twice what I need and freeze the leftover rice. It keeps for a couple of months and can be used in so many ways.

Holy fook, this is my dad. We’re in the US and he has a business and partners with many POC businesses. He does work for them at a dirt cheap price. He also rents his homes at dirt cheap prices too because he understands how it is coming from another country with nothing. My mom isnt very happy at some of his rates, but he taught me the importance of kindness, looking out for each other, and the importance of having and gaining assets especially as a POC in the USA.
