Aimless structure wise. that is a decent synopsis of progressive rock in general. But that's what makes it brilliant. The journey it takes you on. Both Gabriel and Collins were excellent. Haven't got into Duke tho.. Abacab and the Genesis album (especially home by the sea) is genius. The trifecta of Selling England (my personal favorite Gabriel era), Foxtrot and Trick of the Tail is most likely the greatest progression in music in general. To me, never got into Lamb..although 2nd track, fly on a windshield is great. Your passionate review, Ill try to venture into this difficult album to get into to...That said, i have listened to Invisible Touch countless times. Wind and Weathering is also a favorite, its relaxing to me. This band is amazing

downer was recorded in the bleach sessions but, wasnt realesed on the original pressing so it then appeared on incesticides. then nirvana decided to release it on the 92 pressings and onwards on bleach.

Finally someone who likes "Can Utility" as much as I do. A song between a fantastic opener and a fantastic closer ("Watcher of the Skies" is my personal favorite Genesis song ever) is sometimes overlooked. "Foxtrot" is, all in all, the best album, one of the best rock albums, with or without "prog" ever. I disagree on "Trick of the Tail" though. I can hear lots of new ideas on that one.

Candy store rock one of the most underrated Zeppelin songs it's got such a cool 50s throwback style, the tone on the guitar is just friggin awesome. Plant's simple "oh baby baby" like nelson and roy orbison like just really friggin cool and bonham's doing some really interesting stuff like he's really in control and really tight with his footwork and stuff but he's kind of going nuts on the cymbals and making it a rock song

The reason for Downer having bad production is because it's from the Fecal Matter demo tape. Like, straight ripped I think.

If I made that tier list it'd basically be yours upside down 😂 I like pretty much all Nirvana songs but come on, you put some of the blandest (speaking of which, non-album ones should have been featured too!) ones on top tiers and some of the most genius, creative and unique ones on the bottom ones!
