I don´t like UBD because it makes the student´s brain to be like a tube with an income and "outcome". The teacher determines ( and thus reflect) what to do and (and what to meaure) instead of the student. This breaks down Ausubel previous knowledge, Brunner´s ideas of knowledge construction and Vigotsky´s metacognition. As a result, the student does not create knowledge, the teacher does. Education is not transfer, it is mediation

I don't think you've really understood the thinking processes involved. You have also missed out that the construction of knowledge (the process ) is what develops the learning skills. All you have only implied that a student learning in class (if only dependent on the teacher alone for learning - which isn't correct) is dependent on the quality of that teacher in teaching - which I agree with!

You have made a fatal error in interpreting this as a learning theory. It is a model or framework for development.

Really good content. You have a good manner, pacing, and intonation. Unfortunately, that is somewhat obscured by the scratchy audio. Please consider the audio quality of your production. It was really hard for me to listen with the harsh audio.
