Im 65 , my daughter showed me this today as she passef me a doobie and i realise now im bald..ish with a grey beard and half my teeth stuck in with glue that when i was young i was a sex god and all these things he mentions i should have adhered to for it is completdly true . You dont realise how young and able you are until you're not. I lived well partied lots from Led zeppelin to hard house but was always missing the greater truth of just being. Advice to any young people , trust this guys wisdom and live for now . Be a good human and party.

Heck I’m 58 and still trying to figure out what I want to do 👍🏻 I’m selling a small business and scared & excited what’s in front of me. Can’t retire on the sale of the business … if you see a guy selling tootsie rolls on side of the road or washing bicycles in Florida that could be me. I’m going to do what makes me happy now

I heard this a few years ago. And got a shock to the lyrics of this song. I'm in my 50s now. And it's like how did the singer know what's going to happen in the future....which is all so true. A great song I would say. 👍👍

The bit about sticking with your siblings is so true: our family have been through : seperation, divorce, bad health, disliked other halves, the death of both our parents after struggling to care for them (seperately) in their final years...we've loved and hated each other, but we are STILL going strong, supporting each other through the good and bad times - that lineand "respect your elders" makes me sob....so simple, but sooo true...put the hard work into family relationships, you all need each other in the end!! ❤

I thought of this song today, I was in my early 20s when it came out- blindsided by things that never crossed your worried mind on an idle Tuesday. That was my day today…
