I use to make necklaces & bracelets with the seeds when I was a child! Just thread them on a piece of elastic! 🤗

I’ve tried making jerky out of beef steak mushroom… it didn’t turn out great - stuck to my teeth and ended up with a liquorice taste, would love to see some more beefsteak recipes from you! Thanks for another great video x

What a nice video! I loved the presentation, and simple, easy to understand (yet thoroughly explained) information. What a marvelous looking mushroom, inside and out! The meat-like marbling is so cool to look at, and really makes me think about how similar (and yet how different) the different forms of nature are. Of course, the finished product looked absolutely amazing to eat... And was that Miner's Lettuce that you foraged from, what looked like, your garden? Always nice to see some wild greens thrown in the mix! A perfect compliment to an already delicious and nutritious meal. Thanks for sharing and taking us along on your foraging journey! I look forward to seeing what next you find on your travels and walkabouts. Love and happy hunting from the Northeast of the United States.

When you blend herbs you oxidize them and make ‘em useless… kinda like dandelion root tea in the store.. might as well make it yourself because they blend to the point where it’s just an aroma and no medicinal affects

I love foraging, but beautiful girls shouldn't make videos, it's a distraction. ❤

Hello I have a question! I bought some Nettle tea, I was wondering if I could crash the nettle tea and then put that straight into a smoothie?

A little jealous over the Wood Ear branch near the end. Also some lovely Turkey Tails. We have more colorful Coriolus Versicolor here in states than you seem to, although there is a great deal of variation involved. A pleasing video. Cheers

instasubscribed, wild foraging queer from Berlin via Indiana! Just this week ( Dec, 9, 2024; -10c) foraged some frozen velvet shanks, wood ears (already three dehydrated jars this year), and amber jelly roll after taking the holiday week off from foraging. Tossing it in an udon soup with a kombu dashi-based broth with my partner. Perfect for a post-new years come-down from dancing! - Wood Ears - Rotting holunder Wood glows in gold against all In snowy winter - me

I love mushrooms! I go mushrooming with my mum but this year we didn't get much except from a lot of Amethyst Deceivers and some Ceps and a few bunches of Chanterelle's. But my overall favourite mushroom is a Parasol fried on bread! :)))))) What is your favourite mushroom Fern? x

I've just come across your video. I have done a one day course on foraging, too scared to go out on my own, my questions are: Do you clean the nettles and cleavers before cooking? Is there a certain amount of what you forage and cook that could be eaten too often?. How do you know what you forage could interact with medication. Many thanks x
