Does xanthan gum cause flatulence?

It can, but in the quantity I use (1/8-1/4 tsp) I would be surprised if it has any such effect. See: www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-340/xanthan-gum

Great video my washer was not working right I put it on it started its cycles and shut off very quickly but this video is a great money saver I followed the video the washer went through its cycles and now it works thank you you saved me a lot of money on a new washer for now .

@MoeRubenzahl I can't tell you how much I appreciate this because I was going to but a new one today I tried your video and it went through a full cycle and didn't shut off so I will wait and see if this is the problem but I didn't get any error codes it just did what it was supposed to so thanks again

Thank you, I am from Taiwan. My situation is that the washer was washing, but at the same time the drain pump kept draining. Pressed power off was not working, after I unplugged the power cable directly, the strange situation stopped. And then I tried the way on video, it worked! The washer automatically started self-test run from step C00 to C08. Now the washer looks like running well!

I've tried this several times and the door still will not unlock. I've cleaned out the trap underneath as well. Any ideas?

load my washer to wash clothes, it powers on but no water is going into the washer. I keep hearing a clicking sound but nothing is happening.. the wash timer starts going down then it says error. what's the problem?. I also tried your method and it sprayed some water but that's about it.. would the pressure switch sensor have anything thing to do with it?

What does the C00 mean? I have the same "error" code.

I dont think c00 is an error code thats just what displays at the start of the diagnostic test. Hold the start button until the machine beeps and the door locks to start the test.

I have a dryer Bravo XL maytag model MEDB835DW4 serial M92573109.. Right when I turn it on it start for less then 5 seconds then I get error code F4 E1 what can I do to fix

My washer wouldn’t start, but these steps were able to get it into the self test mode perfectly. Ran through the cycles. Found that this was the only time that the start button would work at all. Not seeing any error code. I wonder what to do now. I live in a remote area, so repair people are few…

Odd. That says that the button works and the circuit board thinks everything is OK. Try unplugging the appliance for several minutes to force it to reset. If that doesn't work, and if you are handy, take the appliance report and plug/unplug the main board (hoping that a dirty connector will be scraped clean) and if that fails, try replacing parts but you might be wasting time and money. repairclinic.com takes parts back so if you replace something and it doesn't fix it, you can return whatever parts did not need replacement.

Press power to exit test mode. Im not sure if youre supposed to put clothes in for the self diagnostic test. To start the test press and hold the start buttton after c00 comes up on the display.

I just came across forum thread with technician manual for my Maytag Bravos XL MCT MVWB835DW3 and this is also how to put that into diagnostic mode. Gamechanger.

This got my washer working again. It wouldn't start even after I cleaned the filters (which needed it). But this procedure let me clear the codes and run a self test cycle, after which the washer started working again. Thank you!

Not sure what you are asking. If you are asking whether they use xanthan gum to thicken dishwashing liquid, I do not know, but I researched a little and do see that some people use it to thicken their homemade liquids. Commercially, I suspect there are cheaper substances like cellulose compounds.

This method did not work for me. Ended with CO on but we were not able to run a wash cycle so I guess it's repair person for us. Was worth a shot though.

Is there a web site or link to see what each code means? I have a Maytag bravo xl so I don’t know if all codes are the same for different brands, I got a f7 and e3 but I don’t know what it means.

I was told I need a whole new computer board for my washer... Have not had it even 2years yet, didn’t bye extend warranty... because it cost me $900😫 no washer ... any help

Oh, I hate that!!!! A whole, overpriced board because one little part goes bad. For what it's worth, I fixed the board on my first Maytag after finding a website that detailed some common faults in that first generation. But that's not something most people can do (it involved some understanding of electronics). If you are handy, you can replace the board yourself and get the parts from a company like repairclinic.com. But sadly, you're probably better off buying a new washer.

Elvan Zaenal Try it. I think you could make a gummy candy but it won't likely make hard candy.

Worked great on my Maytag 5100 model! Saved lots of time, money, my sanity, my marriage -- ok, maybe not the last one. I have a great marriage. But what hack this is. I had had to disconnect the water to move the washer. It was stuck with the motor on, locked. This cleared it up. I had to turn it on and off a time or two after this reset code to get it cleared up.

So after error codes flash, what do you do? Now my maytag commercial washer just beeps with lights flashing and I can't press anything or make it do anything but beep

@@kellyhamilton460 I'm sorry that I really can't remember details since it's been a year since doing this. Maybe, just keep following and pushing the code indicated in the video even though it doesn't sound like it is registering? And as I indicated, I did have to turn it off a couple times for it to fully reset.

OMG it acutely worked!!! I forgot to turn my water on after I hooked up the washer and the washer went into protection mode. And the door locked. But after I did this it works as advertised. Thanks a lot bro u hve been a great help. Saved me 100 or more dollars 👍🏾

Technicians manual found under the washer's top panel says to press the 3 buttons 3 times within 8 seconds to activate diagnostic mode

Will this work with a MVWB765FW0? It’s a top load. The panel Looks exactly like this one! I’m getting a F5 error only. It seems to be a lid lock error. I tried a different diagnostic method with spinning the dial and it seemed to work.
