Just use mimic and use a like 3 or 2 sleeping pots throw lighting spear and the mimic will keep hitting him and BOOM

@@ahmedkhalid787 the serpent hunter has a damage multiplier against the Rykard boss fight. There is also a bug that allows you to double the damage multiplier.

@@user-dd5vt6hu7f You have to enable toggle crouch. I also play on mouse and keyboard but my controls are customized ("C" to toggle crouch and right click for left hand attack). Simply press the crouch (toggle) button, and then press your attack button to do a crouching attack. To do it with both armaments, press the left armament input.

You can find him on the path to the Carian Royal Manor. Just find a road on the west most side of Liurnia and follow it north.

If he starts spawning the skulls, two hand the serpent hunter and hit him with the first part of the weapon skill. Wait until his left hand hits the ground, then hit him with the weapon skill again. Repeat this until he is dead but it is not advisable to do it before he starts spawning skulls because you'll run out of FP.

Just save outside the bossroom and then alt+f4 when you fail the noble.

@@jonbabaramo9286 if you are talking about the location where he meets Rya in Altus Plateau, it's right in front of the Altus lift top exit. But she will only be here if you entered Altus for the 1st time via the lift (needing the 2 medallion halves), iirc. If you came to Altus by some other way before, she may be waiting in some other place (check the fextralife wiki, for exemple).

There are many reasons Rya doesn't appear at the grand lift. But it is most likely because you already progressed too far, but it could also just be some random glitch. You can instead travel the right path towards the Volcano Manor.

So, went and tested, alt+F4 does indeed save the consumable if done before dying. Not the most honorable deed, but I'm not skilled enough to be nitpicking. Noble took about 1h of tries, mostly because I forgot to use the grease, or forgot to use a FP pot and couldn't throw the 3rd sleep pot, or was moving while trying to do the riposte. Had to farm runes for a bit. Didn't see in your video you put some point in Endurance to increase the maximum gear weight, and noticed the problem when I slow rolled on 1st serpent try. Got used to the serpent in a dozen try max, but Rykard took a long time. I think I spent around 1 hour and a half before the kill. Thanks once more for the video, it was very helpful.

back up wait for his throwing attack, then walk up to him and parry, repeat this he'll continue doing the same attack when u walk up to him, do this until he dies. (when he rolls go behind a pillar so he gets stuck and cant hit u)
