I only recently discovered your channel and have been enjoying it. I don't know why the algorithm sent you to me. If this is a moneymaking business for you, then I can understand your concern and you might want to investigate how others managed to have success with it. If it's all about the numbers and the money you are likely to lose folks like me. You are self-described introverts and that may have something to do with it. You may need to interact with folks on other channels in their live chats, etc. When I started my channel, I worried if I might ever achieve 1,000. After I did I stopped worrying about it. Just knowing that some people watch made it worth doing for me. Friends have surpassed my channel in less time because I changed how I operate in order to avoid burning out like some others friends' channels did. I stopped doing regularly scheduled videos due to the pressure. And I don't even edit. Mine are warts and all, take it as it is and speak from the heart. If people want fancy bells and whistles and special effects they can find that elsewhere. I'm just trying to connect. Now I only post when I feel passionate about sharing something. And I do it for the joy of it because if there's no joy in it, what's the point? I like your channel because I enjoy seeing the intimate connections and companionship in a couple; more conversational interaction than activities. For me, it's more about personalities and feeling like I've made new friends than watching programmers showing off. I'm not a big fan of gardening, but I love your passion for it. The enthusiasm communicates and what's better than sharing love and joy in difficult times? You made this video two years ago and I don't know if your concerns have changed since then. Enjoy doing what you're doing and likeminded folks will find you. Isn't that more rewarding than making little bits of money? One is a joy, the other is a job. I don't agree with copying others. What you offer is different and it's the very reason I subscribed. Keep being you. Cheers!

O-M-G!!! It seems I’m back just in time to prevent an outbreak of Americanisms!!! 😳 There maybe several cultural claims on the names of those reclining seats, but the only acceptable one is also the only correct one: the British version: sun beds. Case closed. 😉 Otherwise, apart from avoiding a near cataclysmic cultural faux pas, this was an otherwise excellent video guys. Really loved your parents’ holiday cottage. Very homely and those mid-century sittingroom chairs were just gorgeous. Sorry I’ve not been around much of late, life has been very hectic. Though it seems I’ve arrived back just in time to see off some very suspect cultural incursions. Finally, wow - just wow - didn’t Tommy look so handsome at the end of that video with his glasses on. Swoon! 😀🔥❤️ Best wishes from your pal in Ireland, Stefan

Will the starlings attack you when you try to harvest the cherry tree (stealing from their territory)?
@tommyandpeterКүн бұрын
That would certainly be interesting, but probably not what would happen 😁 But for now no tests of this, because this year there were no cherries at all - all the blooms were destroyed by late spring frost.

If you add coffee grounds around nectarines it should kill the fungus. As for bell peppers if you plant the yellow, red or orange ones you see their favor is much sweeter and no after taste like the green ones
@tommyandpeter2 күн бұрын
This video is from 2022, so two years ago and the nectarine died back them. We have other new small trees 🙂 Yes, when peppers are orange and red, there is definitely more taste.

Where do you get your water from? Do you have a pump, or do you need to bring in your own water from elsewhere?
@tommyandpeter2 күн бұрын
Sadly there is no well and pump yet, so we had to bring water from elsewhere. Maybe in the future...

Hopefully all your tomatoes grow well. Don't forget to dry some and put them in jars with olive oil and chili flakes and garlic slices. You can put them on grilled cheese sandwiches. Or in chicken breast. Even all the green tomatoes can be turned into fried green tomatoes. Green tomatoe jelly which be great over ham, lamb, and you can even spicy it up by mixing in same chili peppers. I use jalapeños and Thai chilies because I like things hotter
@tommyandpeter2 күн бұрын
So far every season we were able to eat all the tomatoes fresh or in other meals, and we also make ketchup, but not very big amounts. So no drying or other stuff yet, but we'll see in the future.

What a great get away. I did wonder what would happen if you had to use the outhouse in the middle of the night. It was so far away. Loved the castle and the bloody story. Oh, here we call the recliner a lounge chair. So you were correct.

I absolutely fell in love with that place, that little cabin and all those fruit trees. Everything so neat. A little far away the toilette from the cabin, isn't it ? I don't want to imagine you in a "hurry" Lol. Just kidding. How creepy the story that took place in that castle!!! How someone who had the privilege of living in such a beautiful place with that amazing view could be so evil. It's difficult to judge the past with the eyes of the present but what is wrong is always wrong, I loved today's video guys. Congrats. Kisses.
@tommyandpeter3 күн бұрын
Thank you, Liliana 😉 You have to calculate it correctly and not run at the last second to the toilette 😀 Yes, it is very scary what was happening in the castle, unbelievable. At least the Blood Countess was convicted in the end.

Wow I think that's the biggest cherry tree I've ever seen! The glass drawing of the former castle was cool to see and whoever thought of doing that gets a gold star but it was a very unsettling story. What a wonderful walk back to the cabin and it's so funny how you guys are like us, when we see people we try to go the other way. You guys are so sweet together and you always make me smile. Thanks again for sharing!
@tommyandpeter4 күн бұрын
Sadly, we missed the cherry season there, but the tree is enormous. I noticed that I didn't align the glass drawing with the castle properly, but it is indeed a good idea and one can imagine how it once was 😊 Haha, absolutely, when there are people we go to the other side or just try to stay away as far as possible 😀 Thank you, glad you liked the video 😊

Word of advice: Having an Orchard of Apple & Pear trees can be a slimy mess when they drop so much fruit, it rots.. this in turn attracts Yellow Jackets (wasps).
@tommyandpeter4 күн бұрын
Yes, that's true. But that's how it is when having an orchard, it's not a big problem. You can tidy up and remove the fallen fruits or you can keep them and just let them rot. Depends on how much time you have and if it bothers you 😀 In our garden we often let them on the ground and it's fine, they disappear quite quickly and there are just a few wasps 😁

If nature becomes a work of art "A love for two" - It seems to us to see the painting of Botticelli "Spring" scholars have counted more than 40 plant species. Your garden well represents the painted scene, therefore, now in addition to learning to sing, dance you must engage with the canvas and colors. Obviously free interpretation. Hello R and D 😎👀
