For those watching in 2024, currently the prices of both products have switched. Yhe White Nights is sold at 1800/- and Van Gogh at 2100/- Also Amazon tends to hide the 15 pan version of Van Gogh for some reason, so you will have to search through Google first to locate the link...

For scratching, if you don't have nails, I like to use a cut up old credit card. I like to cut it as a wedge so there is one end for thin scratches and one end for wider scratches. Hope this helps someone :)

Great painting! Hey question, do you usually do watercolor painting on sketchbook paper? I didn’t think you could get the watercolors to look good, or even work on thinner paper… I see now that you can, and it doesn’t seem to conflict against the watercolor look!
