Best years for performing old songs was 2016-2017. So if u talking about old songs - i prefer 2016-2017 versions (with Yui). New songs is a different story. I prefer 2019-2021 versions of new songs. Some songs like Akatsuki - best versions are 2018.

Hey, please check out a African American hardcore punk (punk core) called Bad Brains. I strongly recommend you reacting to I against I and Soul Craft by them (they are active from late 70s, but still sound fresh to this day). If you like maximum the hormone, you'll probably dig bad brains as well. You'll hear rock, metal, reggae, straight punk and hardcore and more... frequent switch-ups, multiple genres incorporated in single song, and every album sounds different. They are massively underrated, but influenced many great bands.

In my opinion BABYMETAL peaked with Road of recistance around 2015 definitly before Yui-Metal left in 2018. Earlier on they were impresive not only for their music, but also for beeing so young. But as they grow up artitically they can't depend on beeing young. They are still very talented, but as adults they are talented among many other artists, and lately it has been a bit stagnant. I think they have taken the concept as far as it will go, sadly because it means it will fade from now on. (But I agree Kingslayer was a really good song, so there is nothing wrong with Su-Metals vocals, it is just the producers have ran out of ideas.)

So the band wrote a pop song for the drummer (Nao) who gave birth during that time and they let think the fans what the band was changing their musical direction. But the real song was the second one and unfortunately, in this video, the song stops before the end. There's another video on their channel with the entire song (the song is called like the band's name "Maximum The Hormone"). The second video is the sequel to the one you reacted first (the song is called "Maximum the hormone II") and it's about the weight loss of the guitarist Ryo (little brother of the drummer). The doctors told him that he had to lose weight or he was going to die if he doesn't take care of his health. Can you please do a reaction to the japanese band called BAND-MAID? You can try their last two official videos taken from the livestream they did in February this year. The first song is "Thrill" which was their first official music video in 2013. This song basically lunched their musical career at the time. The second song is called "NO GOD" and it's taken from their new album which was released in January 2021. I'm a fan of THAT first album. All of it. ALL OF IT! It's got it all, they sound great, fun, heavy, kawaii, the shows were raw and different from anything else around... even those first lives with the Babybones are amazingly awesome, then they get a real band and it steps up and gets even more brutal... I love them between 2010 and 2017... but for me the peak was 2014/2015... Live in London at The Forum 2014 is one of my fav shows, and Saitama SS 2015 (where Yui jumps over Moa in the IDZ fight scene) is phenomenal... and I will always wear my Yui-Skull t-shirt very dearly.

Given how diverse BABYMETAL's tracks are, you did a good job of picking two similar tracks from opposite ends of their careers to date. Had you picked the most recent MV (BxMxC) you'd have seen a much bigger contrast. There is such a range of genres mixed with metal on each of their albums, it makes comparing tracks very difficult. I can confirm that you can't really get away with being unfit if you go to a BABYMETAL show. And the metal elements hit harder.
