Yeah, I think something like 18 or 19 gauge wire (about 1 mm) works well. The trick is to find something that is relatively easy to bend with simple tools but that retains its shape. I've found good wire at the hardware store, but the art store sometimes has good stuff too, like the kind of wire they use for armatures. In a pinch i've used a lot of paper clips too which are a bit more stiff but still usable.

Hi I’ve been trying to do this with my Cricut but I keeps drawing two lines and outlining the main line instead of just drawing one. Was wondering how you got it to just draw one line? Thank you!
