I have a few questions as my jvc doesn't have android auto, how's the radio holding up? All I am getting is 1 station right now. Have the pac harness to get new one up and running. But the camera replacement intrigues me. Do you have any more videos of install ?

Thank you for the video. I feel empowered to start my own build. But how many hours do you think you have invested into building it?

Is there an air filter? What happens when it rains?...does water get in from the top and/or sit in the tube until you suck it up?

Mmm I do 't get it.. I live in Costa Rica, where when it rains, it rains and having the air intake at the bottom of the windscreen seams madness, as the water will go straight down the screen and into the air intake..!!

thanks so much for sharing. I am building an overland trailer, I am thinking of doing similar to the same thing but instead of a wedge i am going to do a square.

Dude, that color. 😮😮😮😮 I tried to find spruce green but just couldn't. I bought a white one with 52K miles and a 6-inch lift for 23K, so that kinda made me give up, and the spruce green dream.

I'm curious as to why you wouldn't build a full pop-up, given the cost and weight are a minimal increase and you get so much more space when camping... especially in bad weather.

Bro i tried to find a spruce mica green Tacoma. I bought a white 2014 V6 Tacoma full cab with 52K miles on it 6 months ago for 23K. It has a full lift kit and blacked out emblems and everything so i cant complain. Im hoping to put Alpha Rex headlights and taillights plus the TRD style grille with raptor lights soon.

i'm almost done with my conversion.. i was able to fit a Skar 8" sub in the factory box with some easy mods (and patience). i used adapters to replace the door speakers, 6" mids in all doors. i used sound deadening in the sub area/back wall and on the 4 doors. two small amps behind the left passenger seat - the storage area. i'm replacing the factory radio with a 12" screen android/tablet style. the most time consuming aspect was tracing all the JBL wiring and tearing it out.

What I can’t figure out is how there is no water infiltration between the keder rail and the extruded aluminum. Is it just because of the little skirt that hangs over the extruded aluminum when it is up? …and that skirt is tucked in when closed And how do you deal with the corners where the keder rail doesn’t go around the corner in one continuous piece?

I like your make! First, KISS principle! (keep it simple stupid!) which is the best for off-road and life in general! Second, very rational layout, easy to handle and use, maximum space and nothing weird outside (privacy ok!) Last but not least, affordable! Very inspiring, thanks from Italy! i'm going to start a similar project

Could the top part be modular. Ima contractor and. Was thinking that i the top could be removable and could swap it with a diff top. That is specific fo wirk and has a rack for material transport

What would the downfall be of running 1.5”x3” extrusions for the bottom frame instead of the 1.5”x4.5”. The 1.5”x4.5” is at like $2.60 a inch right now.

Maybe i missed it, but is there a way to open the hatch and/or tailgate from the inside whilst all hatches and tailgate closed? Mostly for pest prevention, excess moisture exposeure to interior, and winter camping.
