this is incredible. See Don Taylor arguing with journalists at Bob Marley's funeral over the use of cameras in exchange for money! when Bob died upset with him for his improper handling of money.

The last concert of Bob Marley was the Pittsburgh show, the 1980-09-23. The end of the "Uprising Tour" was cancelled after that concert on Pittsburgh.

So glad she was honest and said this. Imo It was more of a homage paid to Rita than it was to Bob. Still i found it quite strange how they made it appear as though Rita was the one to introduce Bob to Rastafari when that wasn’t the case at all. I wish the movie would’ve been more factual and respecful of the actual unfolding of events and giving the credit where it’s due, for Bob was and will always be a revolutionary.

Awww thanks Ray. Its been really hard to find footage of him when he came to New Zealand 🇳🇿 I was only 5 when he came here but I still bump into the occasional person who did attend his concert at Western Springs. He started a Reggae Revolution here at a time where non whites were experiencing racism in New Zealand also so Bob really gave the people the encouragement and power to stand up for their rights here, actually he gave all colors of people that same power and hope for a brighter day

What a presence. I just don’t see this level of soul embodied in form often. His essence comes into his craft & the better I understand his lyrics as I’ve grown up, the more I realize the message he’s carrying. You just don’t see that often in the music industry esp for someone so famous. Gratitude ❤
