Looking very nice indeed there Glen... Digging holes like that is a good time to not have hair..I have a lot of hair and mud in it is not fun ...awe you have deer very cool...you'll be upgrading from blacksmithing birds to teaching Bambi how to make tongs soon 😁

Mate, that looks great. I really appreciate seeing the hammer you made in action. It's like watching you make a cool tool, then watching the customer benefitting from your work...cool stuff.

Fantastic Glen!! Does it remind you of the old days? I'll bet once the house is finished you'll do a top notch landscaping job as well. If it's anything like your old house it will be a world class property when done.

Awesome Glen. You finally be back state side one of these days. If you werent so far away from texas id bring my framing trailer and we could whoop that house out in a couple of days.

Thanks so much for the donation Steve. I'm definitely not a master of just about everything but that typically doesn't stop me from trying. 😬

Your doing a great job Glen! Keeping a clean job makes progress exponential! Doing the pickup work really reduces the floor frame crews job and saves you money, it keeps them focused on production. Keep up the good work and keep the updates coming!!

Most impressive. Not many can say they made the hammer they used to build their house, well done. How long are you in the US for ? Are things in Taiwan as tense as we're told by the media ? Do you miss the traffic ?. Stay safe 🇦🇺🍺

that depends which food is in contact with copper. copper dish is very good for whipping eggs. but any acidic food or liquid is dissolving copper quickly, so you can get poisoned.

Use milder hit in die then straighten then redo die work then straighten keep working back and forth even forging blades to finish you either put a pre end in or you just work out the bend as you go
@claytongraybill93707 күн бұрын
Even when you bevile by hand hammering you need to correct the bow and it is called the plunge not ricosso
@TonyUrryMakes8 күн бұрын
Soak the brass plated piece in vinegar- the zinc will dissolve snd leave the copper- no need to reheat
