Hated carrying them long ass heavy12 footers and 6 at a time, to heavy for my skinny ass to carry across a roof.

I can't help but think that the space under the deck and under the roof are wasted, but I'm sure there are reasons for this that I'm not qualified to understand :)

Any thoughts on putting a ledger on T111 wood siding? I assume you would cut the siding out to slide the flashing up under the siding?

If you have a screw gun in your hand, sure. If you have a framing nailer in your hand hold the plunger, hold the gun about an inch away from the board and shoot. Then use your hammer claw on the partially sunk nail you just shot to achieve the same result.

Seems like simple common sense to me for pulling up and leveling blocking . Ill keep that in mind if Im building something with double joists or rafters.

Some codes in certain states allow fiberglass reinforced concrete with no rebar for a slab. Regardless, quit stalking the dude.
