I bought a '63 Fairlane used in '68. Very good looking car, However everything you can think Of went wrong with it. And I always had trouble starting it in the winter. I can definitely say it was the worst car I ever owned. To this day , I will not buy a ford. The letters in ford mean Fix or repair daily.😅

KC Kvitka Cisyk's family were Ukrainians and lived in Ukraine until 1944. She was born in the States, she spoke fluent Ukrainian and recorded 2 records of Ukrainian songs. A Beautiful and gifted Soul who left this world too early

What Ford did right was make the Mustang available with many options to suit everyone. From a docile 200 ci six, to the Shelby. Hardtop, convertible, or 2+2. What other car had that many options? Even super rare options, like a tissue holder! Imagine owning an original factory optioned Mustang with every option available?

Thanks. Too bad Ford never made a Granada wagon. Owned a 76 Granada Ghia 2 door 5.0 light metallic blue with cushioned vinyl top.

I have a 1973 which I think is a little bit better looking than the 74 through 76. It's that rear bumper.

The ironic part is this new body was actually slower on the NASCAR tracks. The 1969 body was more aerodynamic. Ford as a stopgap measure was installing convex rear windows in the cars at some races to get some top speed back. But arguably this is a better looking car.

My father won the use of a brand new LTD back in 1965. It had a 390, 4bbl with dual exhausts. I was pretty young, but he always said that it would “run like scalded dawg”. I remember that my mother took it for a drive- our cars didn’t have power brakes, but the LTD did. My father warned her to press lightly. She didn’t, and my little sister and I wound up on the floor in the backseat. I can still visualize it even though it was nearly 60 years ago

If Ford re-made these trucks with the option for people to sign a waiver saying “yeah I know it’s not as safe as a modern car - I still want it” they’d make a killing. Especially if they were at 1970’s prices haha.

The LTD was a beautiful car. My favorite was a 2 door1969 LTD, with a dark blue interior and exterior. I drove a 4 door LTD to my senior prom. Wonderful memories.
