Okay, so do you always use a cover ? I feel like my line where the board folds is more pronounced than yours and I paint mine a lot of times or use peel and stick wall paper and that line kills me
@MakerDecor
@MakerDecor 11 сағат бұрын
Hi, have you thought about making the backdrop not foldable. I have built different types, some foldable, some not. The foldable option is more for those who have no other way of transporting larger items. Its kind of a trade off of ease of transport but you have to cut that line straight and have the hinges aligned right, to minimize the line. Or just have the full size backdrop and not have to deal with the line at all. And no I did not use the cover all the time, paint or vinyl does well. But also I have other backdrops and depends on the situation. Good luck

I like your videos and I'm going to make my first attempt at a Neon sign soon. But I want to make sure I'm tracking: for the power source, you spliced the male end of the power source and connected it with one of the two-prong clips, then plugged it in right? I'm just trying to make sure I understand

Hello! What type of paint did you use? Trying to decide semi gloss, gloss, or egg shell.
@MakerDecor
@MakerDecor 9 күн бұрын
Hi, I believe I used glossy. But I usually use glossy as it makes it easier to wipe down or clean off. But semi gloss will work as well. I just prefer glossy. Good luck

Do you have a link for the plastic container you used?
@MakerDecor
@MakerDecor 13 күн бұрын
Hi, I have the image and some info in the plans. But really I just went to walmart and looked for a plastic container that would work with the sizes I had in containers. I don't have a link to it, but you can probably find more sizes on Amazon. Just measure the width and length you are going for and look for something slightly bigger. Good luck

Hiya, thanks for this video I've watched it like 16x to make sure I get it right - I live in the UK so our measurements are different but could you advise what would you used here and what thickness is it possible to use MDF wood at 9mm thickness?
@MakerDecor
@MakerDecor 13 күн бұрын
Hi, yes you can use MDF. The size I used was closer to 12mm. So not sure about the 9mm. Also if you use MDF, make sure to use a mask as that is harmful to breath in when cutting.
