Might be buying one of these tomorrow for £180 gbp. That’s what I’m going to offer the guy. It’s up for 225. Not top spec sadly, (2016 with 1.1ghz processor and 8gb ram), I was on the lookout for the I7 16gb versions but they are few and far between. I just want something to last a couple more years before I go to Apple silicone. Just something to watch KZfaq on and browse the internet with As long as the battery is good on it I think I’m just gunna buy it. Seller says the battery still lasts for hours so that’s a promising sign if so

I actually use this a huge amount. According to it I use it 23 1/2 hours a day. it sits on top of me most of the day when I’m awake and then it’s sitting so close on the nightstand. It thinks I’m there even when I’m just asleep watching movies. : ). I use a bunch of graphics FX programs to animations and then I turn them into videos. InMotion, EEFTK, Beatleap, ProCreate, Glitch, ViaVideo, to name the most used programs. it really is an upgrade and has handled basically everything that I’ve tried to make it and I’ve purposely pushed it.

One thing I noticed is the new screen is easier to draw on. The tip moves across the screen a lot easier than on the old iPad because I just switched between them this morning.

I just scoreed a near mint Gold 2017 12 inch macbook for 200$ on ebay. 16gb RAM and a 512gb SSD. Mac Os was running 160-185 degrees F. So I wiped it and install baremetall Arch Linux. It now hovers around 115-135 degrees F. Linux brings better open source drivers and is less bloated. So in love with this thing. Like it almost as much as my M1 Max. I use externa;l keyboard and mouse. Im not touching this thing even though the keyboard is flawless. Enjoy yours. Open core legacvy has all my old ass Macs running sonoma and ventura and my 2010 17 inch mac works fine. for the 2011 GPU issues. I fixed four of mine with DosDudes GPU terminal commands in the apple CLI terminal.. Take out all the old mechanical HD's and installed new SATA SSD's. Perfectly usable still.

Hmm you recommended an iPad pro for the average consumer. I believe the average consumer wont care about 120Hz - and the BASE iPad 10th Gen is best for most people. £350 is a steal as the iPad can do about 80% of anything that’s come after it. Besides the specifics that require M series chip.
