Nice model. You need a better buy a better sound card. That sound of that diesel engine is garbage.

Great video and lovely railway! Is there a slo-mo on that loco? It was running at a great speed!

Thank you. No slo-mo, but she’s very nice to drive and responds well to tiny adjustments on the regulator when pulling a bit of weight!

Got dizzy. Felt too much shaking too. Just like riding a real Narrow Ga. Train. That 32mm Ga. vs. the 45mm enhances this ride as the former is more precarious. Nxt time, please put some figures in the cab n this wagon in the rear and let the figures shift n vibrate around, leave a gap betwn the figures in the wagon as though this video viewer can see ahead. Once in a while, switch the scene off the train and shoot an eye level track side shots. It keeps the story more interesting. Thx!

How does the engine heat up the water? Is it battery powered or through the tracks?
@DanzibarDrums
@DanzibarDrums 7 ай бұрын
There is a gas burner that heats the water, no power through the tracks at all! You fill the loco with water, gas and lubricant, then light the fire. It takes about 5 mins to reach pressure and then you can drive. This one is controlled via remote control so there is a battery pack and receiver in the tender linked to 2 servo motors - 1 for the regulator and another for the whistle. Some people don’t use remote control and will just operate the controls by hand, it just means you need to follow the loco around the garden to control it that way

Absolutely enchanting, thank you. I must have words with those FeckHallBahn’s staff members moonlighting on your railway!! Is the Jennie r/c for direction and speed or do you have to nudge it?
@DanzibarDrums
@DanzibarDrums Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the lovely comment. The R/C on Jennie is just for speed (and the whistle), so yes I do still have to nudge it the way I want to go.. luckily with the track being a complete circuit it’s not too much of an issue! A lovely runner for the price

one aspect has to be the valve timing on the Roudhouse slip-eccentric engines is so good. I feel that is one reason some folk run their engines so fast. The off-beat chuffing is something you hear a lot on videos with speedy running. This one is perfect, four beats per revolution.
