You guys are doing it right. The important thing to take is the one that both of you have in abundance - good attitude to life. The more gear the more no idea. Great vid. Thanks

Technically you could do it with an esky and a grill to cook on the fire. To say you don't need because of your own choices is not a reasonable statement. Sharing your experience alone is enough.

Not sure how to ask this question tastefully? How long do the chemicals take to break down solids (No 2's)? For example, if you do no 2's and then go to dump site 1 hour later, is it gross e.g. no broken down, smelly, peg on the nose stuff........

Very informative, I’ll be heading back to AU for another six months and will be buying a UTE or SUV and gearing up for my camping adventure all around Queensland possibly further but definitely QLD! I like your channel, it’s giving me real practical information and not trying to sell unneeded stuff! 🤠

Mate I love this, I use heavy duty armorall shampoo for beach trips and under the chassis and fr 8 bucks a bottle that stuff works great!!! Then for regular wash the armorall wax and wash is excellent does leave a protective coating on it. I've been using lanotec steel seal as rust prevention for my 4wd but the only downside is that the sand sticks to it like a magnet, but it does protect. Have you tried steal seal ?

We have a Hyundai iMax campervan so four wheel driving is out for us. But. Yes. Less is best, more is a chore. Take less stuff and more money. Low tech and high expectations. Much fun.

We love camping at Blackrock. Looks like the campground has been expanded quite a bit. The only negative is the lack of available water. The walk to where Jerusalem Creek meets the sea is a great walk. So many different native plants and flowers. Also love the rock formations on the beach.

Can't believe we are blessed with another episode already 😊 my gq td42 off the road having diesel pump rebuilt (by reputable crowd) wasn't buggered just leaking. Thought might as well rebuild, Only 1200 if I took it of myself and took it in, not bad seeing the ol girl has near 800 thousand ks, and still purrs perfectly. Got to love em.

That's crazy, nearly a million 😳 they are tough trucks that are built to last with maintenance. We did our pump a couple of years ago with the same leaky problem and it's been problem free since

I run some genuine landcruiser convex mirrors, a bit expensive but they bolt straight on, dont stick out like micky mouse ears but give excellent vision. Im surprised you haven't quarter chopped and replaced the rear bar.
@GoingOverland
@GoingOverland Ай бұрын
I'd love a rear bar but weight is the issue, when we hook up the trailer there is a lot at the very rear of the chassis and don't want any extra. Cheers for watching 👍, I've thought about those cruiser mirrors and wondered how they go

I also bought the kings supatrail swag, I water conditioned it like you are supposed to and it leaked like a sieve. so I then tried Aquaproof and a mixture of silicon on the seams, very expensive, and it still leaked, I am convinced you cannot get it waterproof, plus the curved poles broke and I had only used it about 3 times. $99 great price rubbish quality. the big Daddy swag I've had no problems with. kings do some good products on a budget which at least can get you out there instead of saving up for a lifetime to get out and about. Great video again and teaching your kids young is prudent as something may happen to you and you can't drive and they might be what saves your lives.

Thanks John, I think it's great getting them behind the wheel, teaches them to listen to instructions for 1 thing. I just bought some aqua seal, so I'll be annoyed if it too doesn't stop leaking, we did season this swag and it never used to leak, so 🤞
