Fantastic video, really beautiful. Was this a January cruise? I was looking at November on the Nansen but a bit concerned with the amount of floating ice that could impact excursions.
@sailingnusa42284 ай бұрын
Thanks for kind words. We were there through November and I’m not aware of ice limiting our excursions which were spectacular. Enjoy your time on this stunning continent.
@MrGazzaFreeman4 ай бұрын
@@sailingnusa4228 Thankyou for replying. When in November were you there? We are November 16 to the 30th. Did you ever consider going later in the year to see more whales. Looking at your videos it does look like the time when it looks its best.
@sailingnusa42284 ай бұрын
We boarded the ship on 3-11-23 for 22 days, Falkland Islands-South Georgia-Antarctica. Yes we did consider going in January/February to see the penguin chicks and more whales but in the end decided on pristine Antarctica which is what we got. We didn’t see that many whales but we do see a lot sailing the east coast of Australia.@@MrGazzaFreeman
