While my favourite RX will always be Unicorn, my second favourite is the Palerider. I only start thinking about the RX-78s after those 2 much as i love the Granddaddy.

Great breakdown and something I'm very appreciative of is your clarification of the gundanium armor that not only was it obviously bullet proof but also gave an anti beam coating to the Gundams. I always thought the Leo suits only had access to the mega cannon which was a space only weapon and that's why the rifles seemed useless as I thought they fired bullets. Because as I've found other channels breaking down the spechs of the Leo they all bring up beam rifles which didn't make sense, because why do the rifles do nothing but the Tores beam guns do. Now hearing the anti beam coating it all makes sense now. Many thanks.

Ill admit Kira is a character I thought was really cool when I was like 12 years old but the older I became the more detached I was from the character. the thing about Kira and Amuro is that even by todays standards Amuro is such a unique character there’s really not many like him while Kira is basically no different from your standard modern anime protagonist

My rank for the Seed Gundams otherwise love the vid. Strike Gundam and all its striker packs are basic if the yellow fins on the V fin unfolded it would have been better and when its not in action it folds back so 6/10 since I think the impulse does Rx78 better for a basic opening gundam. Duel Gundam with its assault shroud is not great. its just to busy and the color isn't great so a 5 without the shroud it is a 6/10. Buster gundam is trying to be the heavyarms but its very lame looking and it doesn't have any close range weapons and I don't like the color 3/10. Blitz Gundam The V fin is interestingly shaped and helmet head is good for what it is but the claws and missiles in the things isn't good give it a beam saber or something to make it a great stealth unit while having close range weapons honestly a 5 or 6/10. Ageis Gundam if the Nintendo Wii could fold either back down into the head I would like the aegis more and the beam rifle isn't good to look the mobile armor mode isn't exactly good its just not practical 4/10. Calamity Gundam looks good color wise not a fan of the chest laser but its a Gato gundam if he used it in Stardust memory and if the legs were better easily it would have been a 9 despite the chest gun overall for it 7/10. Forbidden Gundam looks like if Neros Gundam from G Gundam Deathscythe from Gundam wing and the Bigro from the original Mobile suit Gundam had a drunken one night stand and this thing was made the head is the only like able thing about it and the beam deflector shields don't make sense for this horrible thing 1/10. Raider Gundam looks like a bad Laserbeak gundam having a bad gundam hammer mace and its transformation is bland and not interesting to see 1/10. Justice Gundam The Wii returns on the head it riding the back jet unit is ok sadly it's full burst mode is only available with the Meteor unit and if it had a mobile armor mode I could excuse some of the weapons but sadly its not practical since its to bad I like the boomerang blades and if the color was different slightly and the head was different I would like it 3/10. Freedom Gundam feels like it could be in Mobile suit Zeta Gundam made by axis and Kamille steals it. I do like the design of it the color is amazing to see it if it had machine cannons on its shoulder like Wing Zero it would be better replace the yellow eyes with green if the shield could be a bit more like Wing Gundam 01 but other than that easily 8/10. Providence Gundam also feels like a gundam from Zeta if you were to redesign the GP02 for the titans and for Scirocco to want his own gundam. I don't like its weapon loadout unless the dragoon system was a prototype then I could retract it the chest is too big the left arm is gimicky shoulders too edgey and I don't see Bad guy gundam now Epyon is a demonic gundam this isn't good its overly bulky. Rilfe is too big and make it smaller now if it was a bison gundam I could see it overall its a 3/10.

The commander is close to lieutenant Wolfe, the private the commander met in space is Charlie sheen's character the new volunteer, and the veteran is Barnes if Barnes kept his cool. Excellent series, one thing i think is missing at the begging is a explanation of minofsky particles generstors etc, and how they effect things like radar etc , which is why combat is so close in and bloody, there are no guided missles etc, they are useless in a minofsky field, which is why remote newtype weapons are valued

I really wish the show had taken the time to put in the pilot backstories. I recall the creators mentioning they didn't know where to put it, but I find that to be a little ridiculous. The mid-series slog would have been a perfect spot. They can rethink what brought them into the war, and reassess their motives.

The naming convention for Wing is related to numbers. I don't know if your joke about Milliardo/Zechs is in awareness to that or not. Duo/Two, Trowa/Three, Quatre/Four, Zechs/Six, Noin/Nine, Treize/Thirteen, Milliardo/Million.

I wasn't aware of Endless Waltz being a different timeline. I was under the impression they were all the same timeline as the Episode Zero comics, which covered the pilots' histories; and the Ground Zero comic, which covered why the gundams looked different in EW.

I think Eri should have told Prospera "I'm not your daughter", and Prospera should have fundamentally come to terms with that, and that Suletta should have been the one to make her understand that. In this sense, the real message should have been about not chasing ghosts of the past or imagined futures, and instead focusing on the present, but we didn't get that. Pulling that punch really, really sucked. Toxic fandoms pressuring creators are an issue on both political sides, and ultimately a human problem rather than a political problem born of unhealthy parasocial relationships with creators and media. Social media pressure isn't a new phenomenon: Even in the days of mail and phonecalls, folks would get contact-counterattack and creators. What tends to happen in the context of politics is one group has normalized this as market response, and the other are still regularly making the news because "oh no, the gays" still scores clicks with the bigot crowd. Every story is essentially made for you already whether you realize it or not, and you're roughly the same form and social mindset as most presentations of heroism. A lot of us are very fatigued that we're only ever sidekicks or support characters. Let the other kids have a turn at being hero, man.

I grew up with this anime. Watched it everyday on VHS since I was 5 and up to 11 years old xD Probably messed me up a bit lol None of my friends liked it and all of them looked at me weirdly after I gave them the tape, so it was just me and my brother in the fan club. Couple years ago we got shitfaced and watched it again, had the best time of my life :D

I'm kinda of new when it comes to Gundam, my introduction to the series was Gundam 00. I didn't pay attention to the plot, I just thought: "Cool robot fights!". I'm one of those people that have difficulties watiching old animes, but your series explaining the story of the old Gundam series made me really want to watch them myself. You have to remember Orga is barely an adult with little to no education or life experience before he was thrown into a position of leadership with extremely high stakes. We as viewers are also more privy to the true motives of characters Orga wouldn’t be to as well.
