Hey! Thanks for watching! Yeah, spearfishing in the Bahamas is unmatched but we still had a great time nonetheless. As for the recipe, we highly recommend it. We forgot to record us adding long green onions but we also put some into the mixture in addition to lemon zest. We’re gonna try both your recipes next time we catch more bugs🤝

Good info. I have a closed file interview in 2 weeks. I’ve been in dentistry for 24 years are a dental lab technician and also a registered dental hygienist. Since the interviewers have not seen my application, I plan to incorporate dental life experiences in my responses to their questions so they know I’m already in dental. What do you think about this approach?
@thedentalduoАй бұрын
Yes! That’s absolutely a great idea! Closed file interviews are all about answering their questions while incorporating all your past experiences into your answer. Definitely feel free to mention how you’ve been in dentistry 24 years. That’s very impressive and shows dedication to the field! Good luck on your interview! Let us know how it goes!

Bro, you have bigger problems than you realize. If you're entire childhood was about brushing your teeth, your parents literally trained you to care more about teeth than life. You didn't choose dentistry. You were brainwashed into.
@thedentalduo2 ай бұрын
😂 my childhood was perfectly fine. I’m a first-generation Hispanic student so neither of my parents pushed dentistry on me. As good parents, they wanted me to stay healthy and so they would tell me to brush my teeth after breakfast. I recently found out I should have been brushing before breakfast and wanted to spread the word to others. I also have a very healthy work-life balance. Thank you for your concerns though lol

Thanks for the video. I'm kind of in a dilemma right now -- I was planning on applying this cycle, but my DAT is scheduled for August 19th, then the score takes an additonal 3 weeks to autheticate/confirm, meaning the very soonest I could apply would be mid september-- which I'm assuming by then a lot of the seats for dental schools are going to be taken. I have the chance to get a masters degree, so should I wait for the next cycle 24-25, get my masters, and apply June 2025? Or is it still possible getting accepted applying mid September. Thanks again for your videos.
@thedentalduo2 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for your reply! It’s not too late to apply mid-September but it’s definitely not early. Your chance at an acceptance is not out of the window though, the application cycle goes on until the summer so there’s a chance you receive an interview despite applying somewhat “late.” Also, I think most schools review applications as long as you have at least the unofficial score which you will have on August 19th, for an initial review. However, they may not move forward with additional reviews until the confirmed and official DAT score is in. Lastly, when considering to do a masters, it’s really up to you and your GPA. It’s worth considering if your GPA is low since GPA is an important aspect to your application!
