I'm leaving Switzerland in a few days after being here for 2 years on and off. The hardest thing for me was making friends. It's very very and I mean very hard. It's lonely

There are so many rules because there are much too much people living in this tiny country. It's just overcrowded. If everybody would make phonecalls without headphones, it would be a mess. If we all would mainly live alone in a forest, all these rules would not be necessary. 😉

Hi. I wonder where mostly the farmers feed and release their livestocks. Is it only possible to release your livestock only in your private land, or is it okay to release and to feed your cows to the common land.( the country land maybe..?)

The DJI mini 3 which is less than 249g only requires registration without insurance, from I understand. Would you recommend liability insurance still? If so, what do you recommend?

One important point to mention about Emd is that after the first cut has been harvested, the grass will not grow as strong and abundant again. So, the reason for cutting Emd at an earlier stage of growth is essentially given by nature and is not the result of a choice. You are not bad at all at scything, skill comes from practicing !

You make it seem like it’s okay to watch something without headphones while riding public transportation. Maybe those people gave you glares for a reason. It doesn’t matter where you grew up. If you move to another county, respect their culture and laws. This is a problem I see with American people usually.

Switzerland is the way it is because people there don't condone the American way of self-centered thinking and disrespectful behavior. They also care about the environment and each other. They act with class and have a sense of dignity, unlike most Americans. If that is a problem for anyone wanting to move to Switzerland, then stay where you are.

@benja_mint

i'm a year late, and i dont have an opinion about the wolfs i understand both sides.. but to your question about whether the wild population of animals can support the wolves... yes. in fact because there were no wolves the population of wild boars and gams etc. is so high that they're overpopulated and around 100,000 wild animals are culled each year by hunters in switzerland (the number is even higher in austria and germany). edit: it seems other people already commented the same

As a Swiss, there must be a better way to protect the live stock. I am from the pro wolf side of the isle. If i look at the Italian or French way to protect herds, that should be used here imho. They must be more beneficial to nature as well.
