Hi really appreciate you sharing this info. Can this type of H2O2 cleanjng performed in larger scale v/s spot by spot? i have a carpet that was neglected for 7 years by my tenants and now they vacated and whole house smells with many debris and pee stains all over with very strong odor throughout the house. Due to area i want to hire a proper cleaning company. But What can i ask the Professional Carpet cleaning company to do (and use), so i know i am not getting tricked here by the cleaning company? Would highly appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Do you use the household ammonia full strength; or diluted per the product directions?

What strength is your ammonia? Full? 25% 50%?

Just use bicarbonate soda soak it in warm water into the stains for 5 minutes it will remove it without any issues .

That is not working, urine is very strong.

My problem is more of the odor, not really stain. In that case, what steps should I take? I heard that using ammonia based product will cause dogs to mark more. I want to deter my dog from marking again on the same spots…

Can you use hydrogen peroxide to neutralize chlorine bleach on shirt. Rather, lets say a few drips splash on a black shirt, will it stop it from eating a hole in the shirt? Obviously it wont bring the color back... And if so, could you do a video explaining the chemistry? I saw where answered a comment on the importance of adding ammonia from a chemistry perspective. Is the ammonia really okay to use on cat urine? Every other cat urine removal guide specifically warns against using ammonia because it will encourage cats to use the same spot again.

This works on clothes too! I tried it on 2 day old curry stains and it came right out. I used 6% hydrogen peroxide and left them in the sun for a couple of hours. Thank you!

I’ve always put an old towel over the stain then press with iron, the towel will help pull it out.

This was a helpful video, I just cleaned some large blood stains out of some carpet but didn't do a good enough job. So, I'll re-attempt using the tips I learned in this video. (My brother cut his leg on some junk in the garage. He's fine but needed stitches.)

After watching this video, I used some 3% hydrogen peroxide over a coffee stain on white speckled carpeting. The stain came out, but it also lightened the speckles and the difference is noticeable. So the moral to the story is don't believe everything you see on the internet.

Alchohol does remove magic marker stains...actually I used hairspray to get up pink marker my son used on my carpet to make a treasure map.

I've been using hydrogen peroxide for a while now for a ton of cleaning things...my question is...what does the ammonia do? I do not use ammonia in my home...would the stain still come out without the ammonia???

I have a blended dark and light grey full carpet, and I'm a bit concerned if the colour is going to be affected, do you think that it will be fine and it won''t be bleached or the color won't be changed? Also I ordered a UV light from Amazon that will arrive in 2 days. I've been rubbing the stained area with multiple products, should I keep doing that or something else before I get the UV light and can do the experiment? Thanks again! I hope your method saves me!!

I am a cleaner and this is spot on. I use my orbiter with microfiber bonnet with the 20 weight peroxide with ammonia. Way cheaper and works fantastic. With the orbiter it disappears instantly. His method will definitively work for the homeowner. Great video!!!

I learnt that I shouldn’t spill hot coffee, but if I do.. my carpet will be replaced.
