Hello, Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care, Your videos are essential to reach your targeted Audience! but look last 7 days, Your content has only 454 views, 19 likes, no comments, and no shares, though you have 112K subscribers. Also, your SEO (Search Engine Optimization) score is still 15.3 out of SEO 100 scores. You have to solve it. You should maintain the KZfaq algorithm. Then, you will get the desired result. Do you know what is SEO?? However, I am an avid subscriber and supporter of your channel. Thank you for the great content

What does “ambers need this much time on connection” or such mean?
@teepasnowvideos15 сағат бұрын
At this part of the journey when someone is in an Amber gem state, it takes much longer to make a solid connection. This requires more time of the person who is supporting to connect and keep the connection going. We would love for you to learn more about all the gem states. Please check out our Champion 4 course (I will link the info) where we deep dive a little further into each one. Please let us know if we can help get you signed up or have any questions. shop.teepasnow.com/event/virtual-champion-4-aug-20-2024-3-pm-to-5-pm-eastern-time-zone/

Thank you! I would like to learn the best way to communicate especially using voice with each Gem state - type of words to use, tone to use, way to talk (mirroring, redirecting, etc). Will this course help me with that, too? If not, what’s the best course for me to take for that?

I think the greatest challenge with Dementia is changing oneself, being more flexible, not expecting appreciation from anyone, neither the dementia person or family, it's hard, but it's the best way that I found

is the service for help still available? So my 82 year old mom has always been a hoarder and now has alzheimer's and refuses to allow live-in caregiver and refuses to leave her home after my poor dad died tragically. She has to have a credit card so she can go buy food but she intimidates the caregivers into taking her back to Costco when she should not be, and she's buying the jumbo pack of lamb chops that goes bad after a week and then the rest of the house is full with a bunch of junk and Broken stuff and bags and boxes and spoiling food in the two fridges and probably $10,000 worth of cleaning products from the dollar store! I just don't know what to do. I just pray mother dies peacefully in her sleep soon. My father died six months ago, and this was his burden and he didn't wanna live anymore. I'm poa, snd out of town have sisters blame me for everything and think it's also my responsibility to make her come live with me and take care of the whole situation but that they should still get an inheritance despite not being involved in her life for 18 years! The whole situation makes me want to jump off a bridge!!!

People with dementia are the official individuals recognized as vulnerable, however I think, the whole average population is more and more vulnerable in facing A.I. and fraudsters. In 2024, to trust a stranger might be considered as vulnerability. Are you sure this video is really from Teepa Snow? Or is it A.I. generated?

I am a survivor of domestic violence, my whole life. I am 52 the first time that I was beaten down I was 18 years old wrong three broken ribs two black eyes marks on my shoulder. I was in Alabama screaming for help. Someone calls the cops for me when the cops got there. They told me to behave myself and to be a good girl . i am now 52 and I have memory issues blurred vision. I think he isn't right. I have communication issues. It seems to communicate with people. I am looking for a support group or some kind of class to help me with things. I need to deal with healthy relationship now, but they have never had any drama in her life and they literally don't understand things in the way I am sometimes so I need some information to help.

If I use this excuse every time to getv them into the bathroom, will they catch on? I can definitely see the "let's look at your face in the mirror" once or twice...??? Also, the frustrated patient - most definitely my mom - after you've apologized and they have said their peace, then what? Do you just say that we'll work this out together and you just want to be there for them, or what?

My mother suffers from hallucinations due to Alzheimer's. She always imagines that there is someone trying to steal from her or harm me. I try to reassure her and change the subject as much as I can, but she insists that someone is there. The situation has become frightening, and there seems to be no solution in this case other than forcing her to sleep to get rid of these delusions. Caring for her at this stage has become difficult, and I feel sad for her, not knowing what to do.

You are both very inspiring and engaging l am in Uk in the exact scenario that you reference at the beginning finding the person l am supporting is experiencing ageism along with a constant battle 5 years without diagnosis and timely treatment no one listens to the carer all the protocols nhs have online sound amazing it is just that literally none of it followed and often lies are told by the healthcare providers as to the level of care they should be providing …basically they just want to wear you down with same lack of appropriate comprehensive responses !!!! They may be busy but they are spending a lot of time and effort blocking us !!! Like the sound of the book will try to source it 👌
