It shifts great and all, it's just whe your putting power to the front , I changes the cv axle and the wheel hub, still popping after drive . What do you think it could be ? Thank you in advance

I think the pulleys are stiff, whatever I think you should remove the spark plugs, then insert the special camera to check, if there is rust you can add ATF oil, if there is no rust, there is no need for that, I think it is not hidden from you by the way, we Arabs have a proverb that says "You are the master of the knowers" and I think you are too, good luck and we await the rest

I would have said pyro fuse. You need a fully charged battery to fire up ecu . Maybe a high mileage engine.. does it have a security system Cadillac star thingy. You need a computer plug into OBD . Id take a chance and instal in other caddy with good wiring. Does the ECU from busted Caddy have to follow the engine. Could be a cheap ride. Good luck.
@JMRRebuildersКүн бұрын
Yeah it seems like a Pyro fuse but can't find one. The battery was fully charged when I tried thought that was important. I could plug in a computer and see what she says that's a great idea also. I only have the one ecu since the other was sold with the motor and also this harness. So may have to rebuild the harness also. Thanks so much for the ideas, for watching and also commenting really appreciate it
@Doggymcdoggy664Күн бұрын
@@JMRRebuilders yep pull harness. Could drop it at auto electrician . Or price up secondhand one. Or just do it your self if you feel confident. I’m not good with electrics. But there’s always KZfaq. 👍 it would be good enough to get engine running maybe find one later. Great you got a spare car for parts. You probably get good money for shell complete. If somebody got one that’s been rear ended. Or find a rear ended one cheap. Good luck. I’ll stay tuned in. 👍👍

With the front end dismantled the way it was, I am going to say it needs a timing chain set. The timing gears from that era had nylon teeth and they would get brittle and disintegrate. Change the gears and chain, you will be back in business.

is this a Joke? he doesn't know you cant just leave the cap on and shove the distributor in the hole thinking it is just going to magically be timed, it is not fully seated and that it is missing the hold down; This guy is such a hack!!!! is this what he normally does or does he just set back and look at the vehicles and tell you that something is going to get done, then show the vehicle in perfect running order? this has to be a spoof of half a dozen other youtubers that are actual mechanics and you may also learn something from them as well as be entertained.

@JMRRebuilders7 күн бұрын

The chains were metal. The gears had the neoprene plastic coating that that was supposed to aide in a quieter running engine. It like to crumble. Either way they would jump timing..
