this is probably a dumb question, but would this still work well on bushings that are older and worn? looking at this cradle lockout as an alternative to having to replace the bushings entirely

Could you possibly share the replacement clip part numbers. Specifically the first one you took off. I had to remove the same one and I am having a hard time finding the right clips. I had to order the new yellow mounting bracket because that broke as well lol

I think all that is in the next part of the restoration series.

Cool stuff! That personalized vent was very cool. I’ve used Jay Leno products and it’s good stuff. It’s right there with Chemical guys and Ethos products. I would use it for sure.

You can also heat up plastic pipe, slide it into a spring that is just big enough to put the plastic pipe in, bend it keeps the shape round. Personally I just used a piece of copper pipe and use a silicone vacuum plug cap on the end of it when I’m not using it.

Use Jay's Stuff and let us know if they are worth the money. Yes you should put the air conditioning in your car. The other stuff is pretty awesome also, enjoy.

Nice Run, I have a couple of friends that have those cars and traction is the challenge. Glad to see you using the torque limiting feature. I had one of the Demon 170 owners telling another not to waist their time with the launch control. I had to explain to him that this is different from his 2018 Demon. I guess people still don't really read the manuals? My one friend has managed to get his down to a 9.17 with the front wheels about a foot in the air here in Bradenton FL. I am sure when you have had some practice with the launch you will get the times much faster.
@SpeedysGarage11 күн бұрын
For me it will be all down to surface prep and how much power I can put down. The launch features (trans brake specifically) have impressed me thus far.
@smokn0511 күн бұрын
That stuff is pretty neat for accessories. I think the Demon Crate with the 2018 Demon was a better idea but at least they did something for the 170. They could have easily done nothing. I'd keep the cleaning stuff, who cares if it goes bad. It doesn't matter if it's bad, as a collectable it won't ever get used anyway. You can always buy Griot's or Adam's cleaners a dime a dozen. Install the custom vent and keep the original in a safe place.

Wow that's pretty cool. The number of your car build is the year of the car 2023. So you have the rarest one haha.

I used to use a hodgepodge of car care products from many manufacturers. Been a few years now, but when Leno came out with their own line, I switched 100% and have personally used just about every product they make, and have yet to be disappointed. Not sure about the Adams tie - I have heard Jay say they started their own operation - maybe they hired some chemists from them? Anyway, tough call on the vent - I think I would use your personalized one and save the OG. Will they let you order another custom one, or is it one and done?
@SpeedysGarage11 күн бұрын
I think it's one and done but would love to order another if possible.

Use the products, and save the bottles once used up. Swap the vent. Keep making great content 👍🏻
@markaustin954411 күн бұрын
I use a few of those products. The wash mitt is nice, down side is where you put your hand in, stretches too much, I do use the radiant and quick detailer also their matte black and Jay's tire shine I think is great. Swap the vent, I wanna see how that would be done. 😉 nice box of trinkets you received !!!!

Excellent Presentation !!! I do appreciate ALL YOUR HONEST INFORMATION PLUS OPINIONS. I fact it reinforce the sadness of us in PR were not able to purchase the Demon 170 and if were imported your are out of warranty. DEMON 170 is and was and still is a EXPERIMENT. Good Job, agree with the mass production fact, but that is part of the experiment. This car was thought to be a Garage Queen but the shoot came out the wrong side. It is a Piece of Art & Engineering too bad they didn't make more than they made, and worst not made more for the rest of the word. This project was beyond DODGE capabilities. I won't call it a Red Neck Borderline Discrimination even do looks like it, but yes I will call it a DODGE incapacity to delivery a DIAMOND. That DODGE can make it better? Everybody can make it better !!!!! Thanks you I'm looking foward to your upcomming U-tubes, thanks you very much !!! This video's make looks the DEMON as Harbor Freight Hacks tutorials LOL 🤣

For the frequency we need to address gear and tranny/transfer case fluids 1 foot of clear vinyl tubing on the end of gear oil spout works just fine. Im not going to dedicate or clean a pressure bleeder to this job.
@burtoncomensky699212 күн бұрын
how would yo reverse it to extract gear oil from one plug ford
@akbychoice7 күн бұрын
You can attach a vacuum to a container bigger than the fluid amount needing to be extracted. Just don’t do it with flammables like gasoline.

Did you use 5/16" barb ball valve deliberately or because you couldn't find a 1/4" one at that time?
@WilliamTythas12 күн бұрын
I'm guessing he went with that to maintain a 1/4 inside diameter and a fit that would not require a clamp
