Good afternoon Alex was looking for new Vlogs from you and then revisited this one. I hope all is well and am curious if you still have your C90T? Any plans for another Vlog on Maintenace or upgrades? In your area is the new version of the C90 available, I believe Suzuki is calling it the Intruder 1500? It is supposed to have a few new upgrades including ABS Brakes and riding modes, it isn't available in the US yet and the local Suzuki Dealers don't have any info on that model. Ric

Hello, Alex, another good and very timely Vlog as I recently purchased a LED light for my 2014 C90 Boss that I need to install. A couple quick questions, did you have to do any aligning once the bulb was replaced? Did you have the bike up on a lift or centered so it was all level as opposed to being on the side stand? Are you looking at adding LED's to the turn signals, I understand that can be a bit more problematic? Going back to bike stands or lifts do you have one? I am asking as I have been looking at a few for both maintenance and ease of moving the bike around in the garage. I am currently considering the Let's Roll Lift & Dolly and the Iron Horse Lift and was wondering if you have reviewed either. Best Regards Ric
@UechiCannon
@UechiCannon Жыл бұрын
Hey Ric! I didn’t have to do any aligning. The headlight assembly can be adjusted and moved around, but that requires undoing a few more screws and bolts. With that said, when the snow melts, I will just double check to make sure my headlight is in a relatively stock position. I just switched out the bulb as it was leaned over on it’s kickstand. I am looking into LED turn signals, but I plan on doing a bit more research before picking anything up. These next questions are good ones, because I have both a bike Jack/stand AND a rolling motorcycle stand. The rolling stand that I purchased was basically the Kimpex motorcycle dolly. I had issues with it from the get go. The portion that is supposed to hold your kickstand…it’s too short, so I ended up resting my kickstand where it wasn’t designed to go (but it works). As a result, I don’t find the dolly incredibly sturdy. While it does allow me to roll my bike right up to the wall, I feel the need to be super cautious and slow when rolling it around. I wish I could remember the exact make/model of dolly, but I can’t seem to find it. I do remember it costing me around $300 Canadian dollars. As for the Jack/lift, I don’t have anything fancy. If you’re Canadian, it’s the MotoMaster motorcycle/ATV Jack. I couple that with a couple ratchet straps and my bike stays quite secure. If you live in the land of the free, I’m sure there are a millions options. You had mentioned the Let’s Roll Lift. That probably a much better choice than my MotoMaster lift. With your choice, you can position it exactly where you need it to be. Mine took a lot of trial and error. In fact, I may get one. As for the Iron Horse Lift, I haven’t ever seen or used one. So I’m no help at all there. P.S. if you decide to go with whatever version of Kimpex stand/dolly that is available near you, try to pick one with a flat base that extends the entire length of the bike…like this Black Widow MC-DOLLY Steel Motorcycle Dolly
@ricmiller484

Alex Thank you for your quick response. I do like the Let's Roll unit just concerned if it would fit correctly. It wasn't on their fit chart but the C50 and 109 are, the C90 is about 2 inches longer. The older Intruder VL-C 1500 was listed too so I am hoping that the frame length is similar. Underneath the frame looks long enough so it should be okay, it's just where the unit will be located will the bike be balanced when lifted. I will probably order the unit and try it out they do have a 30-day return policy. If I do, I will send you an update. Take care Ric

@UechiCannon
@UechiCannon Жыл бұрын
Hahaha close!!! I'm on the other side of Edmonton, Fort Sask! I really love my C90t and I wish there was more info out there. I got really tired of having to search for whatever answers I could on websites that were 10+ years old and stumbling my way through it because the newer versions of the bike are different. I know this channel started off as something completely different, then morphed into a kind of "catch all". But I really enjoy talking about bikes and tinkering with them, so that's where this channel is headed now. I'm working on a video about upgrading headlights and one that shows how I created an integrated garage door opener that ONLY works if the key is in and in the on position. But if you want to see a video about anything in particular, just let me know. As for the where I get my parts, I haven't found a reliable source in Canada (although I haven't searched too hard). I have had great luck with suzukipartsmonster.com. I'm not an expert and sometimes I don't know the name of what it is that I need...which is why I really like this site. It gives the rough area of the bike where the part you need would be situated...then it gives and exploded view of EVERYTHING. When I say everything, you can order 1 single nut or washer and they have the parts numbers. If you find yourself struggling to figure anything out, feel free to ask me and i'll try and help find the andswer. Be safe riding out there!!

Thank you I just viewed and enjoyed your vlog. I have a 2014 Suzuki C90 Boss, which have owned for about 2 years now. I previously owned a C50T. Have you changed out the air filters in your C90T? I have a set of K&N filters and the Suzuki owner's manual is very limited on that process. But I understand the second air filter requires you to remove the fuel tank? Any advice you can provide on that will be helpful. The dealership will do this but are telling me it's about a 2 to 3 hour labor fee and at $140 an hour I am not very anxious to let them do that. I changed the air filter in the C50T but it had just the single air filter on the right side. Yes, I am curious too about the wiring you have done on accessories that would be of interest. Also have you replace you turn signals and or head light with LED's? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Ric
@UechiCannon
@UechiCannon 2 жыл бұрын
Hey Ric! First things first, thanks for watching my vlog! Also, big thanks for commenting. Now, down to business! While our bikes are 2 years apart, they look identical (except yours is way cooler because…BOSS). I HAVE changed out my air filters with K&N and I did NOT have to remove the tank. The owner’s manual has useful information, but I found it quite anemic when I came to minute details. That was the original reason for me hunting down a dealership maintenance manual. I will also say that I brought my bike into the dealership to have my work double checked…it was A-OK. If you’re not on a time crunch, I can make a quick video tomorrow showing the steps to replace the filters. As for the wiring, I can certainly make a video on that too!! Truthfully, I didn’t think anyone would actually be interested. Finally, the LEDs for the headlight and signals. I haven’t changed mine out yet, but it is on the short list of things I plan on doing soon. Thanks again! Alex

I think a big issue that isn't getting enough attention - especially with regards to the western european boomers pushing back against culpability - is that the nazi internment camps started in the 1930s, were condemned universally in the 1940s and the people behind them were charged with war crimes in the 1950s... the canadian residential schools started in the late 1800s, and the last one closed in 1997. This isn't a matter of "this was generations ago" - this happened within many of our current lifetimes.

Our society has this problem where we've bought into the "theyve got the power so we trust and believe in them" logic - then when it turns out they abused that power to do awful awful things we (well not we, but those that support them) can't handle the reality that we gave power to awful disgusting people - and that's how the church has defenders despite every single thing they see. Ditto "Thin Blue Line" and many political flag wavers - taught to believe that if you don't support them you're slime.. so you refuse to waiver because your ego and training dictates that not supporting them makes YOU slime.
