Got back to Oppo with this phone (due to my budget) and it's pretty good. But the touchscreen sensitivity is too high on this device, at first it's almost like there is technical issue with it until you realise it's really meant to be this way. Other than that, even in 2024 it still holds up really well.

Mate I have to admit even though I am ready to buy a phone right now and I was on the fence about this one over samsung phones only because I am a hard core samsung user. But this review has broadened my whole perspective about this phone and I wished you did a loud speaker phone call to see what that sounds like. Anyway tomorrow I'm off to buy this phone and much appreciated for the awesome video review! And i also subscribed 😊😊😊

Came upon this video because I made the switch from Canon 77D to Fuji X-T4 little more than a year ago. I also have a Canon 5D Mark III for any more serious photography stuff. Now I'm thinking about switching back to Canon full time by swapping my X-T4 for a 90D. There's just something about the usability aspect which makes me not quite get along with the Fuji. I miss the OVF, all that tasty Canon-glass (which can often be found quite cheap now when mirrorless has taken over) and the Canon color science. I'm honestly pretty dissapointed with the Fuji in several regards. The image quality is good, but it doesn't have that Canon magic. I find the IBIS almost unusable for filming. It's janky and weird. I had a Lumix GX80 years ago and that thing made the videos look like they were shot with a gimbal when the IBIS was on. I was expecting that, but with good AF on the Fuji, and it's not even close. I think it's a lot easier to shoot handheld video with a Canon DSLR using a stabilized lens than the Fuji IBIS-system. Plus, Canons DPAF is just so much more intuitive and better looking for video (smoother somehow) than Fujis AF.

Love the honesty. I like the case cause all I'm looking for is scratch protection and not much else. I like the minimal design cause it feels like nothing is on it at all. But yes, the overall protection is inadequate.

I have to disagree. The Canon creates an older TV rerun looking video and same with the pictures that just look outdated. I'm no photographer, it's my opinion. It's a different image for a different generation. When you were outside, your skin looked green I'd have to edit the tint. I started buying the pixels when the 7 pro came out and then changed to the 8 pro. I've been looking for a regular still camera cause I miss the old days when gadgets were seperate, but I think I'll learn more about pixel camera phone accessories, it's manual settings, apps, etc. I won't have to spend a whole lot that way. I don't know much about photography but I've been learning a lot in photoshop and have become interested because of the Pixel 7pro and 8 pros camera. Rrecently of 1000s of pictures r voted on, people prefered the the Pixel 6 pros photos over all the other cell phones including the 8 pro and they didn't know what phone took the pics.

grabbed the 50 the other day with an extra battery. They had a sale where it came with a free 100w solix solar panel. I'm looking forward to having access to it while boondocking in my van all summer and being able to hotswap batteries as needed while one can charge up

Hey brother, im a super noob at cameras and i just bought a Canon r50 today, im trying to achieve the classic KZfaqr look for talking head videos but the stock lens just cant achieve any blur really, i need a lens that can give me a wideshot, but blur the background and with me in focus, could you please point me to the right lens i need for the Canon R50 brother? I was going to buy this phone until you said no brick.

The A97 5G has everything except wireless charging with the refresh rate and screen resolution both excellent. I have had no issues with screen burn in on my OPPO unlike some phones with AMOLED screens. The phone I have at the moment is an OPPO and I couldn't be happier. Unless hard core gaming and photography is your thing it sounds like a winner except for no brick charger. A shame they have failed to included the brick charger and a case as I got both with with my phone and would pay extra if both were included in the latest A97 5G box. From my own experience with my OPPO phone this one sounds like a winner. 😎🇦🇺👍
