If you want to watch classic Indonesian films, try Pursued Sin (1974), Satan slaves (1980), and Magic Baby (1982) those are cult classics of Indonesian cinema

I gotta build my 3D Blu Ray collection. I only have Beauty and the Beast (1992) and The Angry Birds Movie. And the only reason I have The Angry Birds Movie in 3D is because they bundle the 4K UHD version in the same case (MORE MOVIES SHOULD DO THIS)
@CorruptNostalgia5 күн бұрын
Agreed, Alita Battle Angel does that. The 3D Marvel releases in Japan do it as well

i like how before every other review there's a pic from each Godzilla movie but "Godzilla's Revenge" gets a pic from the first Jurassic Park movie. I get why but still feels random.

The list is awesome and your nonchalant way of presenting it makes it such a ease and great to listen to. I'm curious wether you got Dune in 3D by now, I love that movie and the 3D makes this already great movie even better. Same goes for Edge of Tomorrow.

As far as zombies eating brains this is the film that started that angle. Prior to this it was flesh that modern Zombie/Ghouls ate.

Visually amazing and subversive but executed poorly on some fronts. This product is a great example of why a skilled producer/director is needed to make sure a great concept is molded into a great film. The Seth Ickerman team are amazing at doing BIG things with little resources, telling an original story and taking risks, but there is a blatant lack of refinement from a quality producer. Someone needed to step in and show them what does and doesn't work from a story/exhibition/dialogue stand point. They score an A+ with the concept and visuals but end up making a B movie that smells of student film. I prefer a movie to not spoon feed me and let me do my own thinking but their story needs to still TELL a story. It can be a hard line to stand on and all the more reason to have a great head of production step back and force some choices.

The thing many people don't seem to remember about Rocky Horror was that originally people were genuinely making fun of the movie because they thought it sucked. Over the years the mockery ended up evolving into a genuine love for the movie, but the first time I went, when I was a teen in the 80s, the friend who took me (who'd already seen it dozens of times and subscribed to the zine) said "Yeah, the movie's kind of stupid, the whole point is the audience participation."

Between the short length and the fact that this movie focuses more on Carl Denham's character development post-King Kong than Skull Island or monsters, I view this less as its own film and more like a companion piece to the original.
