Congrats, Marlee! That was a great video! I'm happy that you've beaten your goal I've taken Step 1 like 5 months ago & planning to take Step 2 in the upcoming months, hopefully before May... I'm really struggling with progress & mainly because of my OCD with note taking (despite it being all on pc not handwritten) it's literally an OCD... I just wanna know, did you spend any time note taking? and if so, how could you do that AND do two blocks a day! or was it just: solve, read and then review without notes? Edit: Oh my god! hahaha I just realized this.... I knew that I've seen one of your videos before! YT recommended this video to me because during my prep for Step 1 I saw your video on Pixorize & it was the reason I gave it a shot, and that was THE BEST decision I've made during dedicated! Immunology, or as you accurately describe it "The Bane of My Existence", was a nightmare for me.. I used to get almost all the CD1423 & IL-82093 answers wrong. Just spent 2 days watching PIXORIZE & summarizing all of it on one single page! Immunology then became LITERALLLY my strongest subject in the Qbanks & NBME's! I'd NOT spend more than 15 seconds on a question, even in the exam I was CRUISING through the immuno questions! So THANKS A LOT, Marlee! This makes me more eager to take your advice with regards to my original question about notes! No pressure, lol!

I did Pexorize for biochemistry and immunology and it was PERFECT. I took decision study Micro and pharm also from Pexorize because of the ability to recall the information from them sketches is waaay more better than Sketchy, but i am afraid to go on because many people support Sketchy upon Pexorize. My question please is that am i gonna regret this decision lol ?? Thanks for help

how to manage that if you are at the hospital from 7-1pm i can’t seem to manage my time any tips please
@MarleeM-M
@MarleeM-M 5 ай бұрын
That's incredibly tough. Ultimately you've gotta do what works best for you, and take my advice with a grain of salt for sure but the best, most widely-applicable advice I have is to really focus on developing time management skills (find a system that works for you) and take care of yourself (sleep, eating, hobbies). Sounds basic I know but they really are that important, it's how I made it through school lol.

I have been dreaming to be a neurologist and im going to finish my 10th grade next year and start my 11th and 12th, and i know that afterwards i have to start the 5 year mbbs course, so how old were you when you finished you mbbs (if you finished it, if not please tell age and the year) since im really confused on how long the path is to be a neurologist.
@MarleeM-M
@MarleeM-M 5 ай бұрын
I'm based in the US so we don't have MBBS pathways. I'm unsure how long the pathway to being a neurologist would be where you live but just for comparison's sake, here neurology residency is 4 years after 3-4 years of med school and 4 years of college.

I can't say for sure but sketchy is definitely more detailed and I find the scenes easier to remember so I only used pixorize to fill in any gaps or if sketchy didn't have a video on a particular drug/topic
