Love the 1 bedroom! I don't usually like studios, but I stayed in one with a layout similar to the one in this video for a month and didn't mind it all. If nothing else, it could be a great starting point for life in Thailand/Pattaya area while you decide where you want to settle in.

About half of them would be back for repairs with the pot holes

Very nice complex I'm impressed! That 1 bedroom is almost exactly what I am looking for ... except was hoping for lesser lease price heh heh. Probably mission impossible in Cozy Beach area. The studio is decent too for the price. Would it be possible to live in this area without having a motorbike or car (just rely on Bolt/Grab or baht bus)? 20+ minute walk to Thappraya Rd or 3rd road could be daunting especially with the hills. Just wondering if there are enough stores within walking distance (grocery, restaurants, pharmacy, etc) to be able to be self sufficient without needing to use rideshare all of the time?

Those prices are very high. That Nissan Almera 2012 goes for no more than about 100,000 to 120,000 on the used market. And dammmmm 219,000 for that 2006 Honda civic?! That’s worth no more than about 130,000 !

I found a place called Royal Park apartments, great price, daily, Weekly and Monthly, prices are great .... The only thing was the price of Electric and water was high all one bedrooms Jason you should check them out well worth it. And they are much cheaper than what you just showed , 18000 baht a month or about 700 baht a night.

Cool! Starting to get around to showing decent sized Villas at closer to Thai prices. Villa 1 a little small for me, I'd say maybe $250K USD value for me. Villa 2 is more like it but needs some expensive additions. Kitchen looks like cheap condo crap. Needs an Island. Outdoor needs electrical for big ceiling fan and "Beer Fridge" Didn't see that in the video. Probably add or extend roof to cover an area for barbie and fridge. "Patio Area" in front of entrance door, all wasted space from what it looks like. Might as well add a gate and make fenced in parking. Heck go ahead and make it covered. "Front Door" is a sliding patio door???? How cheesy is that! I'd offer $200K max.

The first villa checked many of my boxes. The pool is the centerpiece, I believe. I like how you can view the pool from the master bedroom. Moreover, the waterfall is a cool concept. Too bad, I am moving to Hua Hin.

Re: the condos, they're all nice, but seem a bit expensive. I stayed in a studio condo in the Acqua Condominium building on the other side of the Copacabana for a month (mid-April to mid-May) for under $700. I guess I got lucky because short-term rentals aren't always the easiest to find, so you end paying a little more.

I just can't understand, and it's an Asian thing, not just a Thai thing... why they build condos that aren't suitable to live in. What a waste of space, that huge terrace area, when you could take half of it and make a decent-sized condo. 30,000 baht and the kitchen is useless. Of course, great view and nice facilities.
