My only guess is because it's the 999th and 1000th Pokémon, so they wanted to release it in a "special" way. With that said, It's weird that gimmighoul is the only normal pokemon in the game that's completely shiny locked (starters can be hatched , and the titan pokemon have their regular variants in the wild)

Great ideas!! Iron Tail could definitely see improvement. Yes, there is the fear of making it too good when Bastiodon has it, but I really think it prefers the coverage of Smack Down. At the bare minimum, I'd at least like to see Iron Tail match Smack Down, but I do think they could push it a little further. Iron Head I wouldn't mind being buffed, though I know Dialga is a concern there. Heavy Slam could definitely see a bigger buff though. Heat Wave, Flame Wheel, and Flamethrower could absolutely see buffs. Flamethrower getting a 10% chance to debuff attack (Sacred Fire's burn effect was translated to an Attack debuff) would be nice. Flame Wheel and Heat Wave too, though I think they could definitely buff those two's power and energy more. Flame Wheel being closer to Mud Bomb and Heat Wave closer to at least Moonblast would be nice. Volt Tackle was definitely disappointing, so yeah, I'd love to see its energy dropped a bit and given to Raichu! Metal Sound may be kept as is, assuming they're planning to use it to keep Aegislash Shield in check, but if not, I'd definitely love to see it buffed. Psywave has no excuse to be that bad. I genuinely believe +2 energy to make it a 1-turn Shadow Claw clone wouldn't be too OP but would help its users enough. Aerial Ace I personally think is fine as is after its original buff. It's not spectacular, but I also don't think Mandibuzz, Gligar, or Mantine need buffs. Dragon Pulse being cheaper would be awesome! Water Pulse I'm also iffy on, just because of Mantine, but it is an underwhelming move! Swift absolutely needs some sort of buff. I say even make it 65 power! And I like the other ideas. I'd definitely be down for Pokemon getting more coverage moves, especially the types that need buffs like Electric and Fire types.

@@maganhassan2627 Yeah, Bastiodon with Iron Tail I do think would be pretty safe. Objectively worse coverage just for a slightly better fairy match-up (which it dominates anyway) and a little more energy. Swift could be too much on Wigglytuff, but I do think it would like Disarming voice STAB. But yeah, maybe 60 power would be sufficient haha
