I wish there was a way to give us the measurement of the opening and what he made the width of the shelving to be. I know we used a template but if the opening is 30 inches wide I wonder if he made that shelf 29 inches wide or possibly 28 1/2?

Was doing this myself and wondered if the rollers had to go one way or another, since they looked symmetrical. It seems that they can go on either way?

Put a HD silver tarp over the roof part. Mine only lasted 2.5 years without the tarp. The tarp should double that.

Thanks for the in depth video! Would you still use the same hinge if the bottom floor of the door was concrete basement floor?
@onFIREouttakes
@onFIREouttakes 2 ай бұрын
Yes, although it would be much harder to drill for that cup to be recessed. I’m not sure how it would work and you’d have to modify the bottom of the cabinet but you much think about mounting that bottom hinge upside down?

Amazon's not a good source for the universal kit made by Arnold or MTD or whoever. Literally any big box store has the MTD kit, you got some weird Chinese crap that doesn't line up.

Sure and it appears I might be slightly mistaken in that the kit you got is perfect for a Husqvarna, but anyway for future reference since MTD/Stanley Black & Decker own Craftsman and Arnold, that would be the way to go next time. I just installed mine on my Murray without a struggle. 🙂 Cheers

Don't add lubricant, grease or lithium white lubricant. It will dry out and gum up from the heat. It will seize the wheel on the shaft. WD 40 will wash it out if you run into that problem.

I have the same Moccamaster as yours. GREAT machine, and faster than the Cuisinart it replaced (with a burner). As soon as the coffee's done, I just flip the switch off and didn't care if it was manual, or automatic, when I got it. It takes awhile to dial-in your grind and brew ratio with different beans, but you will settle onto a coffee type that you like best, and then it's "set it; and forget it" for consistently great coffee (unless you become a coffee snob, and get into "pour-over, expresso, exotic coffees, etc.)
