Just comes off as bitter. Sorry Conan... maybe doing the cat eyebrows before every opening monologue... yaaaaa maybe didn't seem that authentic or off the cuff anymore. Maybe your whole thing was to "have a career" but you're actually not that funny. You never did the stand up scene... because you're not a stand up. You went to Harvard and tried to figure out how to "have a career" in show biz. You were always playing a character or personality to get ahead in "your career".

@@sebastianfischer2082 LOL, not a Leno fan in the slightest. He hit the jackpot with getting the tonight show. He's a very "safe" and moderately funny comedian. Years after all the drama with The Tonight Show, Conan still remains memorable and relevant to the TV landscape, while no one even remembers or cares about Jay Leno. Karma always comes back around.

Gee... I remember Conan as the guy who jockeyed behind Leno's back to get TTS... and then couldn't hold onto it and subsequently QUIT. Then TTS was offered back to Leno, who never should have lost it to begin with. Karma got somebody... and it wasn't Leno.

I always think about what Conan said about cynicism on his last Tonight Show. I wonder if his anger and hopelessness in this situation helped fuel that speech since this is the most cynical I've seen Conan. He probably saw the world responding with anger with him and young people getting hungry for blood seeing Conan diss Jay, and he wanted his final message to be more than just a bitter goodbye. I'm thankful that he did that because in todays ultra cynical world, those words have meant more and more to me. Thank you, Conan.
