Sport in general will never be able to thank all those values that Rafa conveys, for example to young people, so important nowadays. He's one of the best athletes in history, not only for his sporting successes but also for how he has gotten them and his exemplary behavior inside and outside the court. Just look how from all over the world admire him. And me, as so many people, who have been watching for more than 20 years almost all his matches, I join the gratitude. I will continue there until he wants. All my respects, good luck 👏👏

The scores just confirmed that Nadal has passed his peak and not his old seld anymore. It doesn’t mean how amazing you are zverev.

One of the greatest British/Scottish sports people of all time in a truly global sport that Britain has not been strong since the days of Fred Perry. I hope he'll have lots of success playing doubles with Dan Evans or his brother. He's got the skills to be successful, as has Dan and Jamie. He clearly loves the game and competing, and will attract big crowds, especially at Wimbledon, to watch him compete in doubles. It's hard to believe he experienced the Dunblane shooting at school as a kid and went on to become a legend. His mother Judy must take significant credit for the success of her sons.

You have done exceptionally well in ur career , time to retire now and accept age and time has taken its course. Don’t let your last 12 months of tennis be a statistic of 1st,2nd or even 3rd losses , take care of your self and enjoy ur body with ur family members

It was a great match between 2 great players who have huge respect for each other. The atmosphere was great (I was there). The crowd was mainly for our Andy, but happy for Stan in the end. Great match, great evening, just the annoying noise from the flags as quite windy on that evening. Well done, Andy. You played some amazing points and gave us great satisfaction watching you.

When I look at tennis I enjoy every game and when I look at the players like Nadal federer and Djokovic , I feel for their greatness and when I look at Andy I look at him as ultimate fighter who is still there and fighting beyond all odds.. I do wish Andy and Nadal can play doubles together and win one more grand slam as doubles and see off the courts on high..

I admire this guy a lot, to me he is the GOAT. I believe he might retire, but because he's a fighter, his spirit remains strong, and his mindset is always "Don't give up!" Despite his body often saying otherwise, today he showed us and himself that winning again is possible. The question now is, does he have it in him to endure the physical pain and win one more grand slam? I don’t think his body will let him and that’s why I think this was his last. It’s a sad day in sport to lose the GOAT.

@teresachan495 The same you can say about 2022. Both sets went to the tiebreaker and the match had lasted more than 3 hours. Zverev was the better player in these two sets and if he had managed to win the second set it would have gone 1 set a piece. The match could be very interesting if zverev hadn't the ankle injury.
