In the 90’s you’d have these places to yourself pretty much but now everywhere is commercialised on Skye and full of people. The atmosphere is long gone.

Whilst it can be busy if you pick your times you can still have them to yourself.

Tarrant is from the word torrent meaning river, there are many villages in Dorset with the prefix tarrant that are all alongside the River Tarrant too!

Thanks so much for your great videos on North Wales. We visited a few of the places you described in your video and found them as enchanting and beautiful as you described, if not more. We fell in love with North Wales and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The Welsh are wonderful people and very welcoming. Shout out to Helen in Dwygyfylchi our wonderful host who let us enjoy her beautiful house, our home away from home.

Excellent overview of Canturbury Cathedral as well as the intro to St Mary's Church. That has to be one if the oldest Anglosaxon churches in England. I am fascinated and awestruck by how well maintained they are.

Lovely videography as always! Simon you're getting better and better. Love your research and the BGM. Nothing beats the calming sounds of a moving train and the quaint little stations along the way. Harry's Rock/cliffs resemble the Dover cliffs on a smaller scale. Awesome video. ❤🎉

Ahhh my Sunday morning treat, a journey with you two to lovely places I probably will never get a chance to see unless I win the lottery lol. I love it when heritage rail lines and steam engines are restored to provide us all with such lovely trips. As I type this a heritage steam train is parked over the road at our local station, it comes up each May bringing the sleeper carriages from days past and travellers come up from Melbourne and stay the night to see the silo art trail in the area. One day I hope to go down to Melbourne and come home on it. As usual thanks for a great start to my day! 🙂

If you're attempting to make a professional video about a country, out of respect, you really need to make sure you're pronouncing the place names correctly. Gjogv was not even remotely correctly pronounced at all.

We do the best we can and research it. I gave up worrying about that a long time ago. We give all our videos a great deal of respect and research I’m not going to try and master very language of the world.

I think you should also show some more dining experience section as part of the visit. That may be rude in your country to record video while eating especially some formal restaurants.

Just loved the train as well as the history behind it. It's such a grand example of what can be done by visionaries. I loved the photos of before the project was started and today, what an undertaking, but with breathtaking results. The engines and cars are some of the most charming ones I have ever seen, as were the stations! The video of the side of the car, the countryside and the steam blowing into the camera was wonderful. Thanks for sharing this adventure!
