Seems quite knowledgeable. As Dr. E said...treating weakened depleted organs and all systems is what needs to happen in overcoming chronic Lyme disease... and cell repair. It's what makes the difference.

Also update went to my doctor there is almost no downside to taking the 2 doses so even if there is a 1% chance there is no downside unless you are allergic to penicillin.

I had a tick on about 12 hours, found after a tick check after activities. , next morning I thought was a skin tag on my lower back ribcage. And I pinched it, as I do with those, then they dry up and fall off, And I knew I didn't have it before, so I checked the mirror, it was a tick, I went immediately to urgent care and they said don't worry about it, it wasn't on long enough. With no course of antibiotics. I have fibro and have had chronic fatigue. Well I woke up a few weeks later. Feeling like the worst flare ever. Two years later, I asked for a tick panel, she argued with me about and did it just for Lyme. So I had to ask for an annaplasmosis and myco plasmosis. And she was just my docs team member so I had to schedule with him and see if he would order it. Cancellations due to storms, still not done. The fatigue is like nothing I've ever felt. I can go to sleep at a stop sign. So not driving much for two years, gave up all social activities, down to just what's necessary .. I'm up I'm asleep. I wake up , no matter time, get something done, back to sleep. No click, just I'm up or I'm not. My appt is next week after two cancellations because they aren't deeming it serious enough to take as a same-day urgent care. Because.. I have fibro. And their experience with the other patients is they are on a couch all day. I've had it all my life, so regulate it well for 55 years. But this can't be regulated by any protocol I've established since childhood. It was apparent at 18 months old and before. ( Failure to thrive, they didn't know what it was, then tested and at 18 months was positive for EPSTIEN Barr,,, " a mono like" illness, till 23 yrs old and it was defined by Harvard University and I was the first DX outside a ten year study on it that named it, fibromyalgia at the time. So I KNOW this is not that. They are thinking it is COVID long haul. ( Which IS reactivation , in my case, or primary activation of EPSTIEN Barr. If you had Mono in your life, or exposure, the body eventually handles it, but during covid infection, the body is after COVID so can't keep mono isolated. And it resurfaces, or primary activation. So if you have long haul, make them check for EPSTIEN Barr. You may never have know you were exposed because your body handled it, or you know you did and thought it was handled.. even for years. Anyway.. I've never had this many symptoms at once. Like 80! out of a hundred. I can't imagine someone that was never this sick but a few weeks of a mono run being treated. I'm very sorry for all of you. I always have a back up plan because I've had it through childhood, you just figure out over time how to avoid bad flares. Intuitively..but as an adult that's pretty much been healthy, soccer mom who works and cooks the bacon, slapped down into a couch.. while the kids over pour the milk in their cereal. ITS NO JOKE. I've had flares and I've had great runs. But I've never had THIS. THAT ONE ROUND of antibiotics, preventatively, cautiously, could have prevented this. My daughter had it starting college. On a marching band full scholarship. So bad she couldn't and so we had to pay it. Took two years for her to even feel better. When a smart doctor realized her trip with friends, out of 7 kids on a hike, 4 got Lyme , she tested negative, but no other panel was done, just Lyme. That doc did a panel to find she had the micoanniplasmosis. ? Spelling? And spent one year break from school, to get it controlled before going back to finish college. Anxiety,( fight it flight actually, that won't shut off as it should, crying spells in closets, pain, stiffness, food allergies, just to start. She couldnt pick a major till 3rd year. Apparently, many doctors only know if Lyme.. not the others, unless you live in the Rockies. In New England, it's Lyme. But also, they push u off if it's only been biting less that two days.. It's going to be a huge year seeing last years bumper crops of acorns and pinecones bring mice, deer birds, squirrels in abundance THIS YEAR. STAY SAFE. USE PREMETHERIN. LET IT SOSK AND DRY AT LEAST TWO HOURS BEFORE HEADING OUT. TREAT ALL CAMPING GEAR.. AND DO TICK CHECKS SN HOUR AFTER THE FIRST ONE. WHEN YOU ARE MOVING, TGE TICKS JUST HANG ON. BUT OBCE YOU SIT STILL, THEY MOVE TO FEED. AND YOU CAN FEEL THEM ON YOUR SKIN.. SO SIT SND HOUR RELAXING AFTER FIRST TICK CHECK..THEN CHECK AGAIN..

Thank you for this. I am in my 13th year with this complex disease, and I am convinced that a multi level systemic approach to healing it is absolutely necessary. Your detailed video is definitely loaded with useful information. I strongly believe that building up the body is the right approach, as opposed to the long held focus on killing bacteria, pathogens and disabling viruses. I have attempted extended water fasts, but invariably fail every time when I get to day 6 or 7. I become so weak and feeble that I can no longer carry on, whether I consume electrolytes or not. In fact, I experience an extremely uncomfortable and painful feeling in the middle of my chest, to the point where my heart starts to race from any attempt at movement. I'm not sure if it's actually my heart that is the source of the pain or not, but it is so frightening that I always feel the need to break the fast. I have long felt that my adrenals need to be addressed, but I have thrown so many blind darts at this disease over the years, that I never really made it a priority. Perhaps I was led to your video to remind me that I should. Again, thank you so much for the video, and for being so dedicated and focused on helping so many people out of this living hell.

My understanding is that 100 mg twice a day will prevent replication of the bacteria but 200 mg twice a day is required to kill the bacteria, length of treatment time left up to the physician, hopefully an ILADS doctor. I can assure you that it's a lot more than two pills, what a joke that is!

Actually 2 pills per day for 14 Straight days. Try to take on empty stomach & dont eat 2 hrs before or after dosing. Also important to do probiotics to help with good bacteria Doxi Killed. This is the most accurate information I have seen on KZfaq to date. Education is most important, especially for physicians that deny this disease and refuse to treat patients or even take them on as a patient if they have documented lyme labs.

This video never answers the clickbait title question "How long before a tick makes you sick", and this video never helps you "Find out the real science" as claimed in this video description. This video is NO consolation at ALL for people worried for their life because they were bitten.

That's because it depends on the type of tick. Powassan can be transmitted in less than 15 minutes and kill, as it did to the South Carolina Senator.

Thank you so much for this very clearly explained presentation on the different aspects of where Lyme is at in this point in time. Very refreshing to be pointed in the direction of the different tick testing labs for further information on the data they are collecting. Having participated in the Focus on Lyme blood collection, I find it very exciting that the results are still being used to result in ACCURATE testing and look forward to the day when this will be available to the public. A huge thank you to Holly for being such a strong Lyme advocate.

Is there a possibility that the government is worried that moral panic might spread and overwhelm the system if they begin to actively commence a campaign to enlighten citizens of this poorly understood, poorly diagnosed, and poorly treated disease?

Way to go Holly! I never Knew where that whole 24 to 48 hour idea came from. If the Powassan virus can transmit in just 10 minutes, it stands to reason that Lyme and co-infections can as well. The first thing a tick does is inject you with an analgesic and an anticoagulant. Thank you Holly.

My daughter, now age 23, came home one day at age 4 or 5 with a "black thing" on her chest. As I prepared for her nightly bath I saw it, not knowing I pulled tweezers & removed it. Never thinking bout it again. Well... as time passed, I started noticing "mental disorders" but she was always an outstanding student, the schools said I was "crazy"... the anxiety & panic attacks progressed uncontrollably only at home... school she was still excelling. She had a concussion at age 14, falling from a horse but STILL excelled in school. As a mother I saw signs that preoccupied me but No one seemed to care as she was "perfect" at all she did (dance, cheerleader, mun, asb, yearbook, journalism, honor classes etc. etc.). Then pregnant right after high school graduation (age 18) she was told she suffered from OCD & ACUTE PANIC DISORDER. She lives on her own, with her son ( watch him from 6am to 4pm everyday) she works full time. Now, she has been diagnosed with depression & they think she also has diabetes because she is overweight & her legs swell up, she has extreme sleep disorder, rituals, short term memory loss, mood swings & fears. Could this all be caused by that tick ? Thank you
