Dera Chris, I have made my mind to visit India and take the train. Just because of the feet and your look, I can't help but keep laughing.😅😅😅 They seem as comfortable as at home. I have watched a lot of videos about traveling in India. But, from your point of view, its the best.😊😊
@TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition2 күн бұрын
Well, there's a way to travel India in comfort. It's for sure not as spectacular in a video as when you see collapsing trains..... But I wanna take away the fear that many travelers have when thinking about a trip to India. However, it's not as easy as a country like Taiwan or any European or Southeast Asian country. The main problem stays the lacking hygiene anywhere outside international 5-star hotels, which still makes India a challenge for travelers...
@ChialinWu-CW2 күн бұрын
@TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition agree with you. Hygienen is the main concern for me when I choose next journey.

I just flew Finnair Bangkok to Sydney business class. The worst business class seat I have ever experienced. You cant recline the seat and the flight was shocking. Incredibly uncomfortable. Avoid at all costs.
@TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition2 күн бұрын
Hi! Too bad you didn't watch my or my fellow KZfaq colleagues videos about Finnair A350 before you booked your flight. It's the best source of information. As I said in the report, it's a seat that's as comfortable as your sofa at home. But it can really be a challenge, for example if you wanna get up again, when you're beyond your thirties.... It's definitely not a seat for everyone
@Dragflyer96696 күн бұрын
Even they are not the best, Starlux is definitely one of the best. The service is impeccable. Tried their business class on A350 for short haul. Really wanna try the one on long haul if I have chance.

oh, the unpleasant flashbacks to seeing the HK-Macau bridge from the air! 💀😬 i lived in HK for a few years, and am not particularly a Macau fan, but would always take the ferry when i visited, instead of using that bridge. i completely understand why it's empty - it scares the living sh*t out of me! it's just so long and so exposed, no matter how presumably well built - and permits notwithstanding, i think it's far too much for the average psyche to deal with. thank you very much for the video, and i hope you had a wonderful rest after so much drama🌻

Later I’ll be on KLM Business Class from Bali to Singapore. When I go to BORA BORA 🇵🇫 , I’ll be on a 787. I really am not excited about the Boeing aircraft. Thanks for another great vlog!

The only time an airline can update a cabin is during a "D level" overhaul which only happens every few years, so yeah the upgrades will be strung out over the fleet. And if they know they're going to replace that plane in a couple of years, they may not bother at all.

That's very true of course. I guess it's in for a change in the next round 😉

Kusa mochi (草餅, lit. "herb mochi"), also known as kusamochi or yomogi mochi (蓬餅), is a Japanese sweet. It is made from mochi and leaves of yomogi, also known as Japanese mugwort. Because Japanese mugwort is kneaded into the mochi, kusa mochi takes on a vivid green color.

Great review mate. I am flying Turkish Business from Melbourne, Australia through to London next week. Doing a 3 night stopover in Istanbul on the way over. We are flying Turkish A330-300, 777-300, A321-Neo and A350-900 along the way. The 1st leg is on Code Share JetStar 787-8 to Bangkok(with some trepidation, but no choice), and the last leg on Malaysian from KL back into Melbourne on an A330-300 Looking forward to all these aircraft types and comparing them all. Seeing this report give much confidence in Turkish, and those older Business seats on the 777 and A330. I'm next to my companion traveller, so no problem with the neighbour. Turkish have just started flying into Melbourne but only a few days a week(Code Share on other days). Hope that becomes daily soon. Many thanks for a great review. You got another Sub.

hi Chris! i'm super excited to watch this - thank you. before i do though, i've been pondering why you don't have exponentially more views and subscribers, because it makes no sense to me that more people aren't enjoying your fabulous videos, and i think i may have landed on a theory. i'm a native English speaker who speaks only one other language, love knowing a few words here or there in many others, and to many other native English speakers that seems like a lot, which is an abysmal state of affairs, but we're honestly so lazy with language. so, i'm wondering if having the title of your channel say "English edition", may actually be doing you a disservice. when i first saw that i did think automatically 'aaagh there'll be subtitles', and presumed that you wouldn't be speaking English in the video. i suspect a lot of other people may make that mistake too, because that's the natural bias, language wise for us. i think that dropping the 'English edition' title might help with the clicks and the algorithms of it all. anyway, that's my unsolicited advice! 😆sorry! genuinely trying to help 🌻kindest regards, Katie
@TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition20 күн бұрын
Wow, Katie! That was a very useful comment and feedback. Thank you first of all for the great praise! But thank you tons for that other feedback. You could have quote a bit point there. I'll play around with it in my head now. The reason is called like that is that the original TravelSingFly channel is in German. Used to be bilingual, then I split it into 2 channels, leaving the German one with its original title. But maybe I should call it the German Edition, and this English one just TravelSingFly. Thank you very much! Happy that do enjoy my content so much!

@@TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition my pleasure, Chris, and thank you for being so lovely about my feedback. it's obvious to me from watching your videos what the evolution was, but we all skip over or judge things so quickly these days that it may ask too much of our tiny attention spans. i think switching things around to call the original channel the German one is a great idea! in any event it's food for thought and i hope it's helpful. have a beautiful day!

Dear Carol, thank you for the feedback. I'll look into it. Please know that I take lots of time to curate the music for every new video and it takes pretty long until I decide the volume and the music selection. In many cases it's commenting a current scene. Sometimes it's therefore intended to be what you call screechy - sometimes it's intended to be soothing or it's just music from the region of an airline. I hippie you'll have a great time watching all the content on this channel. Chris

Hi Dave! (is that correct?) Yes, Japan is among the countries where rules are everything. When we arrived delayed, there were about 40 people all needing to get to the same connecting plane to Singapore, all running like crazy, and then ending up at the same bus-transfer gate, with about 5 buses with drivers in front who do the transfer. But the rule said that the bus goes only at every half hour. So everybody waited there, and the gate for the plane probably closed without them. That was quite an atmosphere.... The Westerners (and Singaporeans) screaming in a bunch, the Japanese standing calm in a row. Thank you for the feedback - I cannot say how much I appreciate it! Please spread the word on social media or share with friends. 🤗 Chris

@TravelSingFlyEnglishEdition24 күн бұрын
I am pretty sure that my little channel has no influence on Qatar nor do I have any positive or negative consequences from an aviation report. - I have flown many of the major and also lots of the not-so-known airlines in the past years for this channel. If you take the time to watch my 100+ reports here and on my original channel, you will see that they are very even and with the goal of being as objective and fair as every possible. This is NOT my job but my unpaid hobby. I take about 40 hours/ week to produce good, unbiased content. I therefore don't go out anymore or watch TV. So, just take your time, too, and watch the rest of this channel's content. I am looking forward to discuss things further afterwards 🙂
