My car shakes in the wheel area whenever i go over bumps. Is that shock stabilizer/struts/etc that need to be replaced? Watching these videos will save me THOUSANDS of dollars and I want to learn to take care of my '07 z4. Not even 80K miles on it yet.

I’d check ball joints and wheel bearings. Or even bad tires can cause this.

Hey, if you need to roll the window down, do you need to re-attach the airbag to avoid the airbag light? Or is there a way to roll the window down without re-attaching the battery?

Great presentation. Didn’t see when you did it in the video, but I’d retract the pistons before removing the caliper. Especially, if you don’t have the specific tool to use after the caliper is removed. Using a wedge (e.g., large flathead screw driver), pry between the soon to be replaced rotor and the worn disk pad. I’ve also used a c-clamp with the worn brake shoe once the caliper has been removed.

@juliette hallie, any plans on doing a k-swap on the r-series minis? If so, will you and your dad do it or do you know of a shop that do k-swaps on non-honda cars in socal?
@JulietteHallieАй бұрын
I don’t plan on K swapping a mini. At this point it’s not really my thing.. r53 is reliable and zippy enough I don’t think putting a k is worth it. Maybe for a r56. But still not my thing at this point. I don’t know for sure if they would do it but Walshmo Racing in so cal MIGHT do it.

@JulietteHallieАй бұрын
@@kovanmerza7462 I loveeed my Z4! (My dad actually owns it now) It was great, reliable and fun. Its perfect if you want to do the occasional track day and if youre not going to compete. Reason I say that is (at least here in the US) there isnt a huge aftermarket modification base for these. I personally had aspirations to go further in a motorsports career which is why I moved on. But for a fun street car with amenities, comfort and track ability I would 100% recommend the z4!

Is that 25 mm steel square tube section? my friend wants me to make one for him and I dont want to take any risks hahahahaha - also the front and rear holes on the main rails seem a little close to the end - in hindsight would you recommend leaving a little extra at each end? Thanks so much

Are you changing the fluids according to a maintenance schedule or was there something about the performance that led you to change the fluids? I know you discussed it at the beginning of the video but I am asking whether the car's responses during driving tipped you off?

I've about given up on the idea of doing the swap into a RWD Nissan, and that's with a good, free K24A2. There are just so many parts required, and very 'deals' when it comes to swap parts.
@JulietteHallieАй бұрын
Any swap isnt cheap I think traditionally they say 10-15K is about average for a swap, not the car or any other mods just the swap, its crazy.
