Thank you for this video, I was also having the problem where the clip was not lined up, after lining it up the best I can and starting the car up it popped right in, you saved me a lot of time.

By reversing that air filter, you'll now suck anything it previously caught right into the throttle body.

Great vid compared to any others vids about this job. Tho I was surprised how easily it came off cuz usually it’s just dead stuck onto your turbo and makes many bros sweat with it lol. I had to get one of those really thin but well made paint scraper from the Home Depot to just make the space to dig in with my flat driver lol

Just spent over 3 hours trying to replace the Turbo Intake pipe. Old one came out easily and could not get the 10 mm nut on the turbo side of the new pipe. The pipe went into the turbo fine and the tab aligned with the bolt but there wasn't any room to get in there to thread the nut on to the bolt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
@that_jamesguy12 күн бұрын
Are you sure that you got the entire old piece out of the turbo?
@johnbruno-ck4nt11 күн бұрын
Yes, the old pipe came out in its entirety except for the tab which snapped off. The new pipe went in fine with the tab lined up with the bolt. Just couldn't get the nut to catch the threads. Did you use a special tool? Or did you jack up the car to access the bolt from underneath the pipe? We used some zip ties to temporarily hold the pipe in place until we can figure out how to get that nut on.

Hi there, do you have a video showing how to change the manual transmission oil ?
@mansouralkhaja781525 күн бұрын
Thanks for the video, but just for your record, you didn’t need to open the whole trunk panel, a panel removal tool will do the job perfectly, it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to finish it. Thanks again

Love the CX-5. It has its quirks, but overall impressed after 50K km. BC is lovely but expensive, only a couple fires so far. Cheers!

In Australia the Akerea which I believe is the CX-5 that you have is rated at twice that towing capacity which is 2 ton.
@that_jamesguy27 күн бұрын
You are right. Same with Europe. But here in North America manufacturers are afraid of liability, so they rate them lower.

Actually, there is a transmission dipstick. I've changed my transmission twice and it is covered by the airbox intake (easy to remove to gain access to the dipstick). The dipstick is secured with a 10mm bolt.

I just bought a 2020 Bolt and have put 1000 miles on it. 98% of my driving is under 50 MPH so my average has been 4.6 miles per KWH. Our terrain is hilly and our need for heat has been minimal. I think my first 2 months have been close to ideal and I am experiencing a cost of about $4.00 per 100 miles driven. The car we were driving was costing about $20.00 per 100 miles driven. I anticipate after driving a year that my average for the Bolt might go up to $5.00 per 100 miles driven when the heat is being used. When I look at my annual cost to drive I anticipate a savings of $1500.00 in fuel and $200.00 in maintenance. My used Bolt was a buyback with a new Battery with 100K and 8 years of warranty and a 12/12 fairly inclusive warranty. If I drive this and don’t incur any major repair expense after 5 years my fuel savings will have made my cost to own zero. I received a 4K federal tax rebate and a 3K State grant and bought at the perfect time when fear and inventory was high. And while I personally benefited from the government incentives I would like to see them go away. In addition I would like to see all of the incentives and special tax breaks that the Petroleum industry receives be terminated and tax them to reflect the true costs that the tailpipe and refinery pollution adds to health costs. With no tax breaks or incentives and fuel subsidies gone the consumer will make the choice that is best for them and the manufacturers will produce vehicles that meet those needs.

👉Let me tell you something, purposely posting this video, while languidly, even playfully stating all the obvious methods to get into the trunk, but then omitting the most critical one (or two) methods as in addressing the button underneath the rear seats, which for some people - i.e. that is me! - Is the last available resort. 🤌 So thanks for omitting that and forcing me to go to yet another KZfaq channel, one who’s gonna give me the info I need, and cut the allusion-like metaphors ✌️💫☝️
