Very cool. I did the same with 11yo daughter (now 13) riding in the back two years ago. One of the most memorable experiences ever.

Hi, great to see the video. We are planning the same trip with 2 boys and this video convinced us. May I ask when did you do this tour and what did you paid for it total (incl. transfer to and from Hanoi)
@OurFamilyRestoration16 күн бұрын
I am so excited for you and your family! It was an incredible adventure. We went with QT motorbikes and tour, we did a private guided tour with Kai, who we would highly recommend. Our tour was in October, it cost an average of $275/pp (CAN) for 5 day's, the kids were discounted because of their age (11, 12) this included pick up from Hanoi and drop off, food, drinks, lodging, the guide, entrance to various activities and national parks. I hope this helps!

What did you do about drinking water in Vietnam? Is it safe or do you pack a filter? Im planning the trip soon and appreciate your videos!
@OurFamilyRestoration2 ай бұрын
We drank boiled water and used that for washing dishes. For portable drinking we used the Grayl water bottle with a filter- here is the link: grayl.com/collections/shop-all And Pristine water purification system drops: www.amazon.ca/Pristine-Water-Purification-System-30ml/dp/B08M11694B We took a few months and went to Thailand, then went to Southern Vietnam, so there will be more videos coming soon! Great video guys. <3 Hey hmmm. its not easy to say but really nice for us, for Viet Nam if u use the image of VN for ur video, u should use the full one with Trường Sa - Hoàng Sa archipelago. im pretty sure u dont care about this "war" but China always try to take our lands. We are very grateful if u do that. Welcome to VietNam guys.
@OurFamilyRestoration2 ай бұрын
Thank you for the note. When it comes to China stealing land we do care and sympathize greatly as it is happening to our land and freedoms at home too. We will work on a new cover to include the islands but the map in the video can’t be changed without deleting the video. We hope this helps. Our deepest apologies!

Thank you for sharing your trip. I've seen a lot of Ha Giang Loop tour videos. However, yours seem the most thorough and the camera work was amazing. Now that you've seen the Hmong ethnic children, villages and their way of life, you would never picture any of them being an Olympic Gold medalist. But there has. You may have heard of Sunisa Lee, the all around Gold medal gymnast in 2021 in Tokyo, she is a native of St. Paul, Minnesota but she is Hmong by ethnicity.

I took the ferry on 4th april 2024... Big waves ;) 50% of the passengers were vomiting, the ferry kept jump-flying over the waves. For me, personally, it was an amazing ride (no seasickness here), loved every second of it :D some people will feel sick just by listening to (or worse: watching) other passengers reactions. If you are unsure if you get seasick, just get the pill they hand out, and keep the papre bag ready - for you or person sitting next to you.
